It looks like a stain to me, or is it a shadow or stain that's not blood (water)? It's a tough one, but could very well be if something was done in the garage.

it looks like a really large droplet that the garage door came down on,, and you know what's strange to me is that the drag marks appear to be going to the side door not the other way around as the stain diminishes like a brush stroke.

Regarding location of truck picture/white car:
The street view images are from October 2012 & that white car that is in the picture distributed by LE is visible even then...parked approx the same spot Oct 2012 as June 2014.

...and that's not strange??? What are the odds of that? Talk about a creature of habit. Can date stamps be changed on CCTV footage? I'm not very familiar with the equipment and how it functions.

I'm guessing he drove around twice to scout out the scene and when he drove at the 10:15 that was when he knew company had left - that was his go time.

If he drove around the block to come back he wouldn't be captured on CCTV again until after the murder, that is if he left the scene that way and went West and not the other way which is East.

Was DG's truck captured on CCTV going both ways or just one? I suppose he could've driven in one way and out the other...each time he drove by...going to commit a murder and not changing anything up to look inconspicuous...just keep driving the same loop...past the same white car...that's been parked in the same spot for 2 years...just casual-like...something is wrong with that picture IMO.

You know, it almost looks to go either way. Could be dragged from door to front or vice versa. I've never had a solid stance on either.

Either way, I do think someone was either struck or placed in front of the garage for a bit and blood pooled at the 15 marker, and for some reason I just feel like that was from a head wound. I also thought there might've been a 'purple-ized' hand print on the garage door so the culprit might've weight-beared for balance on the door to crouch down or the victim weight-beared for balance if trying to escape wounded.

good point,, and looping the otherway round would not only give a better casing on the house but less chance of being seen face to face of say JO if she left in an opposite direction. I wonder if he sat at the park behind the house too?

Holy! Great point! That would be insane! I wonder if they "know" the person who had the CCTV Cameras!

I zoomed in on the picture and the stain is also part of the main stain near the 15 marker and it is under the door as if the door closed atop of it. pending how good your puter screen is, zoom in 1000 percent and you can see it too. It also lightly collected in the groove in the concrete.

I don't think anyone knows…I don't think LE or MSM said anything about direction or the exact number of times other than several.

The only thing we have is the one released photo which looks to be going West and what the reporter said at the courthouse about the two times at 9:15 and 10:15, other than that, the whole night's open and we're left to our imagination until we hear otherwise. I wish we knew more.

I was cruising the first thread and came across this photo posted by Wondergirl, a rare one I haven't seen yet and didn't remember from Thread #1. Nothing new, but wanted to share.

ETA - I was curious about that wall, so it's good to see it. And I think it was Kaley who was curious about stuff falling off the trees to get caught in the crevices, so the photo shows the trees.

Police are quoted that they were "looking" for this guy for 17 years. This guy was on a most wanted list, yet he was in the basement of his home the whole time.

The man under the stairs...who would think to look there? That's the thing about assumption...it's usually the most obvious that gets missed. We're always running around looking for the "burning bush"...the big break...the big discovery...the BIG HIDING PLACE...sometimes it's the most simple theory that gets dismissed...sometimes its best to look a little closer to home. It's actually kinda funny, although probably a little embarrassing for LE. JMO

Ohhh...I see...missing pieces again...lol. No wonder it looks odd.

Soooo many missing pieces, so many coincidences. When the trial happens it'll be interesting to see if the stuff we discussed on here comes up and what's relevant and what's not with all the information. Hopefully they don't have a media ban, I'm anxious for the facts.

Not to mention potentially keeping his license plate number from being visible to the camera...you know, maybe he didn't even think there'ld be a CCTV camera somewhere...I don't know why he wouldn't...a lot of people have them...that's a nice neighborhood with some pretty nice homes...most homeowners with investments like that want to protect their premises...especially nowadays..JMO We have one at the lake...to keep an eye on the deer...I guess.

If the reporter knew the times that the one photo (that was released) was taken, why was that information never reported in the media? All that was reported was that the truck was seen more than once in the neighbourhood. None of the press conferences with police gave a time that the truck was in the area. How would the reported known the times?

In his green truck? If he was, he should probably go the NCR route...that would be totally asinine!

I have a question about reporters and their reporting on crimes. If they happen to "hear" or "overhear" from a neighbor, or anyone, are they able to go and directly air their findings? Or does everything they put in print have to be cleared by LE? Are they allowed to expose things that they know, that perhaps LE are keeping quiet?

Reporters don't have to clear the information they learn with police. They can publish whatever they want before the suspect is arrested, and at the time the photo was released, there was no suspect. I just find it odd that the CTV reporter would know two specific times that a truck was photographed, yet only one photo was released, and that time information was not included in any press conferences or news articles. Why would it be withheld by the media if police wanted information about that truck being in the area on the night of the murders? I can understand that police would withhold that information because they would want people to think about the entire night, not just a specific window of time. How did this particular reporter know the times? ... or was she speculating? Would a reporter with a very public reputation, covering a court hearing, really discuss her private theory of the crime with strangers that happened to be in the courtroom that day? It strikes me as odd. Did the reporter think that she was talking to another reporter, which presumably means some confidentiality? Did the reporter realize that her remarks would show up, with her name, on a forum?
