Two theories come to my mind. He either had all this stuff laying around for nefarious reason or he (or someone in this family) just enjoyed collecting this stuff. Collectors usually have vintage stuff because it is cool but apparently some of the stuff found was new.

Also, tasers were recovered. In 2014 or later, was Garland ever charged with possession of a prohibited weapon (taser) or could they not lay those charges because he wasn't in direct possession? I believe that in the past Garland had weapons charges.

This was the young person that he stole the identify from. Why would he have documents from him? How did he get them?

JMO. I have a really bad feeling he was involved in the accident that killed that poor kid.

Not documents (originals) from Matthew but documents in his name. Remember, Garland used that identity in the past so he probably had documents in the name of Matthew for bank accounts, credit cards, maybe ID, etc.
