This breaks my heart. The media is doing their job, but it seems very heartless to pursue the right to release such a graphic photo.

Interesting that after his first arrest on July 4th his mom was making an emotional plea to him to tell them where the victims were. So very early on she believed he was guilty. There would have been no DNA evidence at that time just the sister identifying the truck.

Garland trial: What the jury didn't see

While opposing the application, Parker told Justice David Gates that while jurors were shown graphic images of dead and dismembered bodies found on the hard drive, other photos were edited out of the evidence.

“You’ve also hear other evidence in other voir dires in this case,” Parker said of pre-trial motions where exhibits were discussed.

“You’ve heard of the collection of photos, like those of (Leslie) Mahaffy and (Kristen) French from the (Paul) Bernardo case and the supposed autopsy of Amanda Todd, which has been vetted out in this case from the jury seeing it,” Parker said.

“Photos of Mahaffy and French were vetted out of (the hard drive) because there’s an appetite for gore.

I don't think his family needed much convincing in that DG was "the guy".

Can you imagine, having your mother, the mother of the child you murdered, and your brother-in-law begging you to tell them where Nathan was and you are as cool as a cucumber? Totally unaffected by the emotion, fear and terror these people were experiencing.

I hate to guess at stuff but I am quite sure that he is a bonafide psychopath.

I'm still trying to figure out what fetish he was into. There's cross dressing, then there's the infantilizing fetish. Man, he is so sick and twisted. What all was/is going on that head? WTH is he?

No...he had graphic photos from the Bernardo case on the hard drive. Those photos were removed so the jury would not see them.

It didn't happen at Aetna but perhaps it could have happened when he was in BC.

I'm not aware of any pictures, however it does sound as though there are some.

I recall the video tapes were destroyed, but I don't know about any photos...

I have seen a couple of Leslie's body encased in cement. I don't know if they were released to the media but they did end up in a couple of books. I never saw them in the newspapers or on TV. Kristen was found very close to where I live. Leslie is buried 15 minutes away. I can never pass by the Cemetery or where Kristen was found without feeling sad.
