According to BM reporter from CTV the POI is in his mind 40s and apparently very intelligent. No name given.

BM? What does that mean

Nice :)

Wish I watched CTV at 11... I watched Global instead but had a mini debate over which to choose beforehand. Didn't choose the right one lol.

Quoted from the above article:

"Aerial footage from Global News showed teams of officers walking every inch of the fields on the property and planting orange flags near areas of interest."

Curious...beyond being an evidence marker is there any significance to an orange flag? Is there more than one colour of flag? Anyone know?

There's a reason why I always call the "Daily Mail" the "Daily Fail"... I swear it's their goal to get at least one thing wrong in every article.

The flags were red.

Wait, what? Is there one news report that's better than the other? Which one? I'm kind of lost in this conversation.

They're based in England, anyway; better to go with local journalists for this one, I think.

I didn't realize that it was the homicide unit leading the current investigation. That puts a sinking feeling into my stomach. May Nathan and his grandparents be safe.

This was also discussed in another mp thread, Atticus Vanarsdale, which is (or was, it might have changed now) investigated as a homicide. Seems to be standard procedure, it was said.

If they named him as a POI, can you share his name? Link please! TIA.

I'm glad LE seem to be getting closer to solving this one, but I just can't help but feel that we're not going to get the happy ending we all so desperately want. It's been too long now, and I don't think it's looking very likely that all three will be found alive. We know at least one of them are seriously injured, could they have lasted so long without medical attention? Praying that I'm wrong.

I also don't have a good feeling, but holding on to the hope that the injured person somehow was given medical attention.

Removed more posts. We do not have anyone named a person of interest or suspect. No discussing, sleuthing or linking to info about the person of interest. When and if we get a name and law enforcement says they are a person of interest we will be able to discuss at that time.

We will need a link from main stream media. Thank you!

Sorry; I'm a little rusty on the workings of this forum. :blushing:

What could "cooperating to a degree" mean?

weebles said that CTV named the POI, while Global did not.

I saw it with my own eyes, they were red :p

If they have the POI in custody it means that he's considered more than just a witness, correct?

Are they just questioning him, or was he actually arrested? I'm a little confused about that.

Probably answered some questions, then asked for a lawyer and refused to answer more questions?

The officer at the press conference was pretty vague about this stuff. Intentionally so, it seemed.

Ahh, I see, misreporting by a journalist.

Still curious if the colour of an evidence flag has any meaning and if they do actually come in different colours.

Has anyone found any connection between the missing three, and this property? It seems so random, but random things like this are so rare.

Reminds me of Tim Bosma who was killed about a year ago. And another extensive search of land, though Ontario in that case.

Fair question. Worth looking up if you're curious. I only saw one colour during what I witnessed today, but that doesn't speak for all crime scenes.

Seeing all of the farm pics gives me a sick feeling, reminding me of the Tim Bosma case. :( I hope there is nothing even remotely similar, especially no copycatting, but this just seems all too familiar in a bad way. :( I hope I'm wrong. Kijiji. farm. truck. :sigh:

I should have read to the end...I just said the exact same thing.
