Hi Everyone, another new poster from Calgary here, this is quite the impressive community you've built here. It is a fascinating forum and everyone treats one another really well.

I'm going to catch up on the news over the night, but has anyone here thought about the possibility that AL might have got into an altercation with KL the night of the incident, and had it escalate to a terrible point. AL, not knowing how else to respond, panics and calls in a favour from DG (who has a bit of a track record in evading the law and covering up crimes) to help him dispose of evidence and perhaps even run distraction while he goes on the run with NO?

Welcome!!! :welcome6::welcome3:

If that were the case, Calgary police would have shared more with the public about their findings, as they have had the truck for almost a week. If DG is the only perp involved, LE would have no reason to be so tight lipped
Or is it the policy of Calgary police to share very little about an investigation as it unfolds?

In Canada, information about an ongoing criminal investigation is released to the public if it will lead to new information. Information is otherwise not released. Typically, after there is an arrest, no information is released until trial. As there are three missing persons, information that will lead to new tips about the locations of those person will probably be released until they are found.

I wondered if anyone can tell what time of day the pics were taken based on shadows? Was the sun rising or setting?

Based on the shadows under the green truck, the fact that the truck is heading West, sun rises East, my estimate it that the photo is from about 4-4:15AM.

Just from what I have seen/heard. Usually ambulance with police, after coroner has confirmed death.

The ambulance has just left the acreage without its lights or sirens on. Fire tanker and truck from @City_of_Airdrie remains. #AmberAlert

Well thinking back to the Victoria Stafford case, a hearse I believe was called to the scene to remove her body. There are pictures out there of OPP officers saluting the hearse as it left (still sends shivers down my spine to type that). So hopefully that would mean a no to your question. I would think an ambulance would be for someone still alive!!! Praying this comes to an end today and the lost are found.

Your statement regarding the number of EMS vehicles made the hair on my neck stand straight up.
Could it be possible the EMS vehicles have been brought in to take DG elderly parents from the residents. JMO

The parents are not home. It was said earlier that they would not be allowed back until the search was concluded.
