Is it a common occurrence in the reservoir for this type of thing to occur meaning body recovery.

body recovery in calgary itself is rare, so when it happens it shocks everyone, i think this would be the first of the year for the reservoir and i believe 1 or 2 last year were recovered as well.

Maybe when a body found in a body of water is reported by LE as not appearing suspicious, they really mean that no obvious signs of trauma/homicide evident? (eg: gunshot, stab injury, hands/feet bound, etc). ?

I wonder if someone else had been reported missing that was active at the water area today or recently, i have looked yhough media to determine if a report was issued today but have come up short in my findings, i wonder if someone local has heard anything on the radio or by others means to a different report

I don't even know which thread this ad was even discussed on originally, to look back and see if someone took a screen shot. Can't really report to LE without being able to show them what I'd be referring to/what the original ad was/dates/etc.

I live about 5 minutes from the reservoir (where Glenmore and Crowchild meet) and I haven't heard a thing.

I am not sure if many of you are aware but we have an outdoor show going on currently "calgary stampede" so there are TONS of tourists here as well right now, could be someone visiting that got too close to the reservoir.

True but generally this can't be determined (suicide or natural causes) until ME performs an autopsy, toxicology testing done, etc. Guess that's why they say "appears" as they're speculating based on what the ME finds upon initial exam of body shows?

Pls see post #169 -- ads there remain active x 6 months. and it does not explain how her ad was "updated" on July 8. The only person who can update an ad there is the person who created it.

So are you thinking the presence or absence of that ad could be some way of communicating with...someone, speaking in code in a sense? I have heard of realtors doing business in the delivery room, but I hardly think KL would be thinking about real estate at this time.

The buysell24 advert was posted April 7, 2014 @ 21:46 and updated July 8 @ 06:14, I'm kicking myself that I never took a screenshot.

It wasn't on Kijiji as you can see from the URL.Sleuthing it was just updated 4 days ago, on Jul 8, why would it be deleted by the site today?

And my point was.......did SOMEONE delete KL's ad since this morning and if so, who?

ETA: did anyone happen to see/remember the date KL's ad on Buy & Sell was posted ON? From browsing other ads there, it seems once an ad is posted it remains active x 6 months. It's a pretty low-tech online classifieds site, all ads posted are "free" and it's not a very popular/well-used site judging by the small # of ads all across Canada.........so I can't see anyone "updating" a person's ad UNLESS it's the actual person who created it.................so WHO updated KL's ad there on Jul 8, 2014..................and who deleted it this afternoon? Who, other than KL, would be currently updating/deleting HER online classified ads?

Did anyone happen to take a screen-shot of it see we can see what date it was posted?

What better way to bring traffic to a website, or to collect IP addresses of forum posters without the need for a subpoena or search warrant, than to create a fake ad and post a link on a chat board? Anyone know how that Brian Burke case is progressing?

KL posted a free ad on the Buy & Sell online classified site in April 2014 -- pertaining to real estates/marketing. Ads on this site remain active x 6 months. According to her ad posted there, it was set to expire in October 2014.

She is currently missing........yet someone "updated" (edited) her ad 4 days ago on Jul 8. Several of us previously discussed this, how odd it was that this ad could have been "updated" when she's missing - who updated it?

Now, as of this afternoon this ad has been deleted. It was not set to auto-delete until October 2014. So who has access to her Ad? It's not like she worked for a real estate company/marketing company who would be still be maintaining her business ads though she's missing.

So who is it?
