I hope no one minds reading my tweets from the bottom up. It would take me too long to turn them around.

Bowes stresses just because there are no injuries it doesn't mean a sexual assault didn't occur.

Natasha Pace‏@NatashaPace9m
Bowes says no injuries found during that exam

Natasha Pace‏@NatashaPace11m
Bowes says an genitalia exam was also preformed.

No worries Truth your doing an awesome job. I am finding some small, very small comfort to hear Amber had not only codeine but also morphine in her system. I pray it alleviated some of her suffering :please:

  • #263
Is this naive? Where did he get all those drugs?

Another strange thing about that, was they allowed the media to say that a witness had seen a man wearing a hoodie and possibly carrying a rifle, leaving the scene.

Then the media printed a picture showing Falconer being arrested with a hoodie on.

They carefully orchestrate what is printed in the media in these parts.

I'll never forget that.

For the longest time, I thought Falconer was the perpetrator of Mr. Phalen's death.

I'm simply stunned by the solid forensic evidence they have against him in Amber's murder.

Interesting to note, it was said he has a very low IQ; and we know he did not act alone when he murdered the cab driver.

All imo, of course.

Adding to your thoughts, being from the area I remember both crimes -- and I think the media and those discussing the two cases were quick to stress no connection between Mr. Phalen and Ms. Kirwan, as if that eliminates the possibility of the murders themselves being related (even just by the same murderer(s)).

IMO, obviously.

I hope it did.

IDK, though, evidence shows she fought hard for her life. :(

I don't know how her father is remaining so calm, I want to go and at least stick pins in him until he begs for mercy.

Well, I'm not sure if I'm following you exactly.

I followed both cases, too.

It was on again and off again as to were the cases connected or not, according to my memory.

I always felt they said they were not, to try to stem the public outcry for justice.

I note to this day Mr. Phalen's murder remains unsolved, and I have not heard that there is, or ever was, so much as a suspect. (Other than the obvious one.) :)

For anyone that is not familiar with the area--we are talking a very small town, here.

Where murder almost never happens.

She did fight for sure as the defensive wounds indicate. I know those poor parents. I don't know how they do it. And to have the alleged killer merely feet away :banghead: I guess in some way it's good there is such a span of time til Trial. Then the horror is brought back. Being there for Amber is all they can do. Perhaps that's the mindset with family of a murdered loved one?

In spite of all the drugs, she still fought. :(
How much worse can this get?

Due to all the drugs in her system I cant help but think Amber was held longer than the fateful night. I mean binding and gagging is enough to have a cooperative victim for a small window from initial kidnapping to murder. Did he drug her and leave her at times?

Excellent point.

I think it is extremely likely.

His sister was out of town and he had both the mini-home and the camper trailer to himself. :(

Was there any point of reference to understanding this amount? (I have no idea what a "normal" range would be for someone who used it by prescription, for example).
This one might help:

Angela MacIvor‏@AngMacIvorCBC8m

Dr. Bowes says based on toxicology reports, Amber had 10 times the amount of codeine compared to recommended dosage in her system.

LOL Yeah I hear ya. I think it's likely due to info coming in on twitter. At least that's what I found in the past. We just don't get all the details.

So true. And some of them are trying so hard to be careful of what they say.

I'm so thankful for twitter, though--imagine what we would get, or when we would get it--otherwise.

Yay for Twitter!!
