The video at this link shows a few clips dated November 2011, which appears to be of where they dug. :(

PICTOU, N.S. -- Amber Kirwan mounted a vigorous defence against her assailant before she bled to death after being stabbed at least 10 times, Nova Scotia's chief medical examiner testified Monday at the first-degree murder trial of Christopher Alexander Falconer.

As always, from the New Glasgow News, we have an excellent article here. Worth checking out, if you haven't got time to read the tweets.

The New Glasgow News | LATEST UPDATE: Medical examiner at murder trial describes wounds suffered by victim
Published on January 13, 2014

PICTOU – Evidence collected from three different places during November 2011 was the focus of witness testimony Monday at the first-degree murder trial of Christopher Falconer.

There are a few things in this write-up, that I didn't hear in the tweets.

One thing: Quote: “(It would appear) that Amber was trying to fend off an attack rather vigorously,” he said. “The injury to her finger split it in two which would have been extraordinarily painful.” :(

Great work on this case Truth. I have been following it very closely since the week she went missing as it took place in my home province.
I still get the feeling that something is not adding up here. Can't quite put my finger on it though.
BBM - I'm holding my breath. We still have 20 witnesses to get through. I wish I could say that I totally disagree, but I'm uneasy tonight.

Of note the name tweeted as to the occupant of the brothers st. Apartment was wrong.
Could you confirm that the correct name is Tiffany--the girl named in the link below that WS poster, Homefront, graciously provided for us?

I thought she lived on Vale Road, but I'm not sure.

Quote: Tiffany Robson, a former girlfriend of Falconer’s, happened to be at the courthouse to support a friend in a separate matter, so she stopped by to see Falconer’s court appearance.

“He’s like a teddy bear,” she said. “Always kissing and hugging.”

Robson met Falconer and began dating him when he was out on parole.

“I wouldn’t have expected this,” she said.

Robson said she hadn’t been in contact with Falconer since he went back to prison in November.

Yes there is quite a bit of forensics in this case but truly, so far nothing is tying it to The accused yet. I am sure the crown will get around to that but I can't help but think that Mike Taylor has something up his sleeve and just waiting for the right time or witness to drop the bomb. Something tells me that important phone number (Virginia) has some sort of significance. I really think there is more to this case and there are more involved.
BBM - I'm praying. I wondered about that phone number, too.

With that said however I think CF definitely played a role and is where he belongs.
Yes, with this I agree; and am comfortable.

Glad u chimed in. All opines welcomed. IMO what you cant put your finger on is what the Defense is hoping a Juror will hang their hat on. It has been connected. By forensics.
A penny for your thoughts? :)

I see lots of evidence--and strong evidence--that Amber was at the trailer, but what puts Falconer there beyond a reasonable doubt, at the time of Amber's murder.

I don't think we have heard it in court yet, but the woman from Heathbell Road who owns the property is a sort-of sister. I don't recall exactly the connection, but I believe through different marriages they were raised as brother and sister for a number of years. (Although no actual blood relation.)

So, he is very familiar with that property; and may have gone to visit. I'm thinking that would make it okay to find his fingerprints there; and I notice he is not charged in any way with unlawful entry.

Amber's black tank top in his vehicle--if I have that right. That's could be good, but what proof do they have that he put it there. I don't think the car is actually registered in his name. Maybe they will call a witness that will say no-one else drove the car but him--but that is pretty flimsy. In that case, I hope the jury finds the witness credible.

I guess I'm looking for a smoking gun that says he did it--but maybe I need to be looking at the totality of the evidence?

Bravo, are you saying you think the crown has connected CF to the murder?
Of course it is hard to get the full story with the tweets but I really don't see that as of yet. In fact (of course only going by tweets) CF's name has barely been mentioned so far during the trial. You have to wonder that if the jurors didnt see CF sitting there and know he is the accused that at this point they would have no idea who is responsible never mind reasonable doubt. JMO

I do. Perhaps ahead of myself. I believe it will come today. Exact forensic results. I mean why else bring up all the forensic items and tested. I'm confident. I think LOL

At least you have a good excuse.

I get all hyped and I can't even blame the meds. :)

I knew this was going to be an interesting trial; but I'm finding it riveting.

LOL. It is riveting for sure. I'm interested in why all those different drugs??? Maybe he only had a small quantity of each? Strange

Yes, I find that very interesting, too.

It sounds to me like he had a large selection to draw from. :/

Nevermind! Found what I was looking for :)

Here we go......

I thought one of the witnesses listed it as a green tank top (which I doubt a fashionable girl like Amber would be wearing with her bar outfit). Now I need to go back and check...
I'm so confused about those tank tops.

I thought--but I don't mean in any way that I mean I am correct--that the green tank top was Falconer's and was seized from the Brother St. apt.

I'm not sure but I think Amber had on the blue and black loose top with a black tank top underneath.

I think that was the top they found with the straps torn and blood stained--as if someone just pulled it down hard. (Found in a plastic bag in Falconer's car.)

I'm reviewing tweets trying to get this straight, but it doesn't seem clear.

Maybe it's too early.

Thanks for mentioning this, though.
