The outcome of the DNA discussion is really unsettling to me -- I expected it to be much stronger.

Holy cow! The crown now needs a witness to basically say CF confessed. This to me looks like a disaster!!! In my opinion the investigation into this murder wasn't complete. Way too many missing pieces!!

Not liking that this is not as neatly packaged as I thought it would be - hope something pulls this all together.

Thank you Truth for keeping the updates going on the trial. I have been sick for two weeks, and have not posted, but I have read everything I could about the trial. I especially appreciate the tweets as it is easier for me to follow them here at WS since I do not tweet. :)

I just want to say that I honestly hope that justice is near for Amber. This case breaks my heart! One of the saddest aspects of this case for me is the - can I say - lack of interest in most people. It seems that when Amber was first missing, there were many that followed and the interest was obviously in Amber's boyfriend. Many felt that he was involved in her disappearance. Once she was found and Falconer was arrested and charged, the interest immediately diminished. It seems that when her boyfriend was cleared, the interest waned.

For me, this case is the perfect example of a nightmare! It goes to show that someone can literally disappear in just an instant. We can see her walk out of the bar, we can see her walk a little ways down the street, and she just vanishes. She is taken, and she is killed, and therein is the nightmare that became a reality for her family and friends.

R.I.P. dear sweet Amber. May justice prevail and may this monster be put away for good! I sincerely hope that the information in court proves things in a more clear fashion that it seems on the outside. I know he did it - but I hope that they are honestly able to prove it.

Same here. It's good that they found DNA from both Amber and Falconer on the black top; but I wish there was more--especially something from the camper, linking Amber and Falconer.

Circumstantially, we have that it was his step-sister's property and she wasn't home that night.

Maybe tomorrow a witness will emerge that will put him on the property during the correct time frame via a text message or something.

BBM - That's a good point.

Seeing the actual evidence may be making a big difference for the jury.
