Thanks so much for posting all that Truth Prevails! I thoroughly enjoyed your commentary and I'll bet we were thinking pretty much the same things as we heard that charming testimony :)

This is a theory that my friend at work had- mistaken identity. They look a lot a like, same build, dark hair.

Thanks for this, Jadefrompc.

It's interesting. He certainly wasn't suffering from lack of sex.

But I do know rape is a crime of violence--but then we get to the point where they can't prove rape.

It sounds to me like he had so many women he was tired out trying to please them all; and he snapped.

I think they are all lucky to be alive today.

Beautiful Amber. She ended up being violently murdered, and most likely viciously, sexually assaulted.

Today was a good day for the Crown, though.

Just reading the tweets of Jasmine Lawrence's testimony - I think I need a bucket :puke::puke::puke:

Sorry, these girls are just..........!!!!!! I'll just refrain from saying it. These people are breeding out of control though and that's a worry!
It is just so sad that these young women care to do so little with their lives.

So, we've heard no mention of a job. We heard today that Falconer had no fixed address.

From testimony, we also know he regularly had Tylenol 3 (a prescription drug)--in a plastic bag; and, obviously, marijuana, at least frequently.

Plus, there was his penchant for alcohol.

This guy was only on full parole since May, 2011. There is something wrong with this picture.

These are a few last minute tweets from Natasha Pace with Global Halifax.

She must have gotten a few statements from the attorneys after court today.

I think there was quite a bit more to the testimony today than just Falconer's 'love' life.

"I don't think those types of personal issues will really play into the determination of guilt and innocence" said mike Taylor

Falconer's lawyer doesn't believe putting his love life on display will hurt his client.

"There were a number of hours in the early morning hours of October 9th 2011 mr falconer was not responding to various texts" gorman said

So far, all his girlfriends who've testified say they were unable to contact him during the early morning after Amber was last seen.

"I can imagine that it is uncomfortable. You're talking about some pretty personal, private details of your life" said Bill Gorman, crown

Jasmine Lawrence, who says she was pregnant with #Falconers baby but lost the Child, also testified, at times crying on the stand.

"It's significant that she testified that the accused had access to Tylenol 3s" crown attorney Patrick Young tells @globalhalifax

To recap today: Brittany Robson testified Chris #Falconer often carried Tylenol 3s. They have codeine in them.

Thanks Truth Prevails - your notes are invaluable as I cannot keep up with the trial while working. Sounds like a good day for the Crown and that is a happy day indeed. He sure wasn't lacking sexual partners ....... ugh.

Hopefully, I finally understand about the clothes Amber was last seen wearing. Amber's tank top was black and blue. It was her outer sweater that was solid black.

Below are snipped quotes that give some info on the location and condition of each item found.

The only things that appear to be missing are her personal undergarments.

Quote: "Curley and Fiander also made note of the clothes Kirwan was wearing the night she disappeared – a black sweater, a black and blue shirt, black leggings, black flats and blue and purple feather earrings."

Quote: "“Around both wrists was a black sweater, tied, and a black and blue shirt and a towel, all knotted.”"

Quote: "He examined a tank top shirt with black and blue stripes, believed to belong to Kirwan, for hairs and fibers, blood and biological materials.

On November 25, 2011, Boswell noted the shirt was soiled all over and the left side was torn or cut from top to bottom. There were also two individual holes or punctures in the shirt near the tear. The left and right shoulder straps were also torn.

“There were two areas inside the back portion of the shirt that were stained dark,” he said. “They were tested with a Hemastix presumptive test for blood which came back positive.”"

Quote: "“As we were coming out of the bush, I heard Nathan so as I was walking back to him I came across some material. I picked it up and it turned out to be a pair of leggings.”

Williams notes how surreal it was. One of the legs had been cut the whole way down and she looked at the tag and then Goodall told her to put them down. That’s when she noticed a pair of earrings in the bush. She placed the pants on the bush, still thinking it could be garbage dumped there."

Quote: "The next report was the analysis of a shoe found on Ross Street in New Glasgow {snipped by me}…

Inside the sole of the top layer of the shoe was DNA from three individuals, at least one of them being male. There was a 1 in 1.4 trillion chance the female donor was someone other than Kirwan, meaning it was a significant match."

I feel much better about this trial now.

It's not that I found his female friends credible, but I'm sure the text messages have been verified.

Falconer was definitely in the area circling Big Al's and Dooly's--traveling from one location to the next--being last seen by Lawrence at around 11 pm on the 8th of October.

We still have one more of his women left to come, and it will be interesting to know when she last saw and heard from him.

I'm adding the following to confirm that a box of latex gloves was found in the Chevy Falconer was known to drive.

Latex Gloves:
Quote: "In the trunk of the Impala was a box of latex gloves and on the floor in the rear driver’s side was a piece of plastic with some duct tape on it."

I noticed one thing that I thought was interesting regarding Amber's shoe.

I believe only one was found, and it was found on Ross Street.

One of the females that Falconer regularly drove around, moved into an apartment on Ross Street on October 15th. In her trial testimony, she stated that she first viewed the apartment in the evening of October 9th.

Amber's shoe was found somewhere on Ross Street on the 12th of October.

You can confirm the finding and see a picture of the shoe at this link:

I know we are yet to hear from the female friend on Vale Road, but I couldn't resist doing a map to show the small area Falconer traveled in the evening of Oct. 8th.

Amber went to Dooly's and all Falconer's female friends did, as well. Big Al's was a known stopping point for Falconer, and Amber was headed there when she was last seen.

The link should take you to a screen where you can pull down the little man to go into street view.

I probably really should not have added C & D as they are two locations that only became significant later, so you can just skip those. Sorry. :)

Thanks, Hestia47!

Welcome to Websleuths!

Way back in the beginning, I thought I had heard that he was employed. I had no confirmation on that, though.

The place on Vale Road--I believe that's where the Dean woman lives, or lived.

That's where they towed the gray Chevy from, iirc.

I think she is going to be called as a witness, so we should have something concrete as to whether she was just another one giving him a free ride, (no pun intended.)

Or, possibly he paid her 'board.'

I think I recall he had some drywall company listed as employment on his FB page.

Ahhh. Thanks. I wasn't on Facebook at that time, so I never did visit his page.

I would hope he had employment since I suspect it would have been a condition of his parole. One of the reporters tweeting didn't seem to think so, but she probably didn't have time to check before she tweeted. I believe someone asked her the question.

He seemed to have money, too--money for a 2/4 of beer; money to buy one of his women friends a new cell phone; he had a lap top computer and a cell phone of his own; they seized a separate thumb drive.

He couldn't seem to scrap up enough to get the side window on his vehicle fixed, though. Plastic had to do.

Since the vehicle was actually registered in his grandfather's name--iirc--it's difficult to say who actually paid for it.

Strange guy.

His FB page is still up. Look at one of his friends "May Fran" . Not much there but he is the only listed friend for this person and the only activity on this persons page is during the time Amber was missing.
