Solving the murder of Amber Tuccaro could hinge on identifying a man whose voice was captured in the background of this recording of her last phone conversation.

During the call, captured on tape, Amber can be heard becoming increasingly agitated as she asks the driver about their location and destination. The 'Chilling Scares' podcast recounts how "a male driver can be heard reassuring Amber that they're heading where she wants to go but she doesn't seem to be buying the story and is obviously pretty distressed."

Amber is heard asking "where are we?" before the driver responds: "We're just heading south of Beaumont ... or north of Beaumont." When she expresses confusion about their whereabouts, he insists they're taking a "back road".

Expecting to see the lights of Edmonton, Amber voices her concern that they're actually moving further into rural areas, yet the driver maintains they're en route to "50th Street". The recording also captures Amber's stern warning to the driver: "You'd better not be taking me anywhere I don't want to go."

A recording of Amber's last phone call revealed that she had been arguing with an unknown man

Deplorable how Amber's possessions and family were treated by police

Is this really a problem with the police? RCMP appears to be outrageously neglectful "even" with the cases of young white girls with zero drug/criminal history or connection. With Indigenous people more often than not it's hard to go through theories/possibilities without listing on (or very near) the top LE's involvement in at least covering up for someone, if not for themselves - and where is a smoke, there is usually the fire, they're probably indeed involved in many.
It's not one Amber and not one Saskatoon, and they don't exist in void. They have families, friends, neighbours - people, in eyes of which they want to look good, decent, respectable and admirable.
As long as there is not much of an issue with getting that - why would they care? From where that care could came from if it's neither expected or seen around?
Some people do care, and they care a lot. If they were majority, LE's attitude would follow their expectations - but they are not.

many reports indicate Amber was " observed" getting into a vehicle with an unknown man. or seen accepting a ride, or different versions of the same. There has never been more information than that, but if accurate, Observed by who? Who observed her getting into a vehicle? and what type of vehicle was it?

Oh my, what a great question.
Since the beginning I was under impression that her friend was looking at her through their hotel room window but... That may be just what my imagination came up with to understand what could happen better - or that was implied by media narrative, that Amber went outside and hitchhiked...
But hey - does it make any sense? If Amber was hitchhiking near the road, then even if she was close enough to hotel for her friend to see her leaving... no way that friend would be able to notice that she got into a vehicle with an UNKNOWN MAN. She couldnt be so sure of that and it would be phrased differently.

So... most likely he was spending night at that hotel, or its parking lot, or delivering something there and offered help after overhearing Amber asking how she could get to Edmonton. I bet nobody checked all adult males at the guest list anyway, nobody asked for the surveillance or did pretty much anything invetigationwise

Hi folks - I'm an investigative journalist following this case. I've been specifically investigating the Horse Rancher mentioned near Onoway, Alberta. If anyone has any information, stories, or theories, you can send them to me at [email protected]

Thank you!!!! About time! He's been mentioned so many times! Can I ask out of curiosity what are the rules on defamation regarding such reporting? I would personally be scared of that.

Edmonton is an industrial area with lots of motels and truckers coming in and out. Is it possible that Amber and her friend were there working rather than vacationing?
I have a hard time understanding this story as it is told. I wouldn’t be surprised if police purposely changed details to protect or direct their investigation. Could Amber’s friend have altered the sequence of events, the reason why they were there, etc. because she wanted to hold back certain information?

Too many people online have tunnel vision in regards to this case. That rancher has already been extensively investigated. I believe it was a local or someone working there for a couple of months. I wouldn't be surprised if he was a serial killer.

He sounded very confident in what he was doing for sure, sometimes though police investigate and "clear" a person who ends up being the one who was responsible, they're not perfect

I know, but there is no conclusive proof either way. Just a bunch of rumors and speculation on the internet that got ramped up. People can believe what they want, but he is brought up every whenever this case is posted online. I think that it should be noted that there is absolutely no proof and he has never even been named a suspect. It discourages people from discussing and brainstorming other more viable theories.

For example, this recently accused killer, fwiw, imo, speculation.

She was staying in a motel in NIsku, ab. Its about 5-7 minutes south of Edmonton. No-one lives there ( in 2005 its pop was 30. There are farms surrounding it, but its mostly oilfield businesses of various types or motels that cater to oilfield workers that fly in, or out and need to be near the airport.
I don't know why 2 young girls would stay there, there is nothing there, no shopping, no activities especially having a child with them. It is inexpensive in Nisku, but to get anywhere you'd need a cab. Why they would choose to make Nisku their base doesn't make sense if the reason for being there wasn't in Nisku.
I don't know if it's ever been firm why they went to Nisku/ Edmonton, why Amber left alone that night, where she was going, or identified the vehicle she was allegedly seen getting into. which is it? Was she seen or not? and if so by who? or what type of vehicle? Did she tell her friend she was hitchhiking?
Anything is possible, Alberta is a big oil province, with rigs working all over. Is it possible there may have been previous contact near where she lived.? Any rigs working out there at the time? I wonder if that has ever been checked out? It happens all the time on those rigs, whether girls are sent out there or the guys go into town to the local bar? Someone who flies in or out from YEG.
The Nisku location as a home base is odd when you don't have transportation and there are inexpensive hotels in the city also.

Maybe they were there looking for work? Job interview? Training? Or maybe their guy/guy's were??? It's the ONLY reason many people have ever stayed in Nisku. :MOO:
