Sadly this is a problem all over Canada as well as the US. Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women.

Interesting story. I’ve heard about Anne many years ago. I live in Nain, the most northerly community in Labrador. I’m an Inuk artist and I just paid tribute to Anne in a national project called the “Red Amauti” Project that is an initiative of the MMIWG which is the Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women & Girls. It will be unveiled on Feb 23rd, 2022 with Pauktuutit - a national Inuit Women Organization. Let’s find justice for Anne xo
