Jennie Thompson said her stepfather, 70-year old Tony Adevai, of Wasilla, was supposed to be home Wednesday from a trip to Oregon for his brother’s funeral.
“He called and spoke to us on Sunday saying he would be home Thursday,” Thompson said. “We received a call from the (Royal Canadian Mounted Police Wednesday) saying they found his truck abandoned on the highway.”

Thompson said that even more disconcerting is the fact that a male a placed 911 call about 30 miles from Iskut, British Columbia on Monday. Iskut is about 120 miles northeast of Ketchikan.
Also a possible sighting of him on Monday, see more at link: http://www.frontiersman.com/news/wa...cle_f6070b84-b8bd-11e6-bb4a-fbce0c761359.html

RCMP say searchers in B.C. have found human remains in an area where a missing Alaska man disappeared in late November 2016.

Anthony Adevai, 70, was last seen near Kinaskan Lake, along the Stewart-Cassiar Highway south of Dease Lake, in northwestern B.C. He was driving home to Alaska after visiting family and attending his brother's funeral in Oregon.
