I wish camping was opened I’d go look around Jones lake I don’t know if the police looked that far up the skagit. The longer she’s gone the worse this is . One could hope they were messed up on some sort of drug and he left her in the bushes or somewhere. But that’s doubtful. Jmoo

<modsnip: rude quoted post was removed as not victim friendly>

Maybe this is getting so much focus because she is a person and the members of this forum value the lives of their fellow humans? Because at some point in her life she was someone's child and loved as such? Because if any one of us went missing we have hope that someone would take interest and not give up until we were found?

the search area is so huge from north van to hope area she could be anywhere . I am so glad she’s well liked and has so many friends and family setting up searches .she is so loved I really hope they find her. Now that hunting and fishing is deemed essential they have a better chance of finding her with hunters and fishermen out .

Family, police confirm boyfriend of April Parisian, missing since early April, is dead
EMELIE PEACOCK
May. 8, 2020 5:30 a.m.

Francis said she witnessed a fight between the two at the funeral of a family member in 2019. Francis said she saw Parisian bleeding from a head wound and heard her yelling at Margesson that he had hit her with a belt. On another occasion, family wondered where Parisian had gotten a wound to her eye.

[...]

Margesson was charged in relation to a November 2010 incident in Castlegar, with two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and one count of causing a disturbance. He pleaded guilty in provincial court in Surrey on Jan. 6, 2012 to the disturbance charge and was sentenced to six months probation.

More recently, Margesson was charged with two counts of assault and one count of uttering threats to cause bodily harm. The offences allegedly happened in Spuzzum on August 16, 2019. A trial is still scheduled for July 3, 2020 at the Chilliwack Law Courts on these charges.

Family of missing woman holds emotional vigil in Hope, B.C.

VANCOUVER -- It's now been seven weeks since anyone has heard from April Parisian, but at a vigil Saturday in Hope, B.C. the missing woman's friends and family gathered to affirm their commitment to keep searching.

"It's hard for me to talk about her because I love her so much. She's my baby," said Keitha Parisian, April's grandmother.

Remains found at Ross Lake do not belong to April.

January 30, 2024

A possible lead regarding the disappearance of April Lee-Ann Parisian has been dismissed after RCMP confirmed to family last Tuesday (Jan. 16) that the human remains, found inside a suitcase at Ross Lake in Washington on October 2023, did not belong to her.

April Lee-Ann Parisian is still missing. Hope that she will ever be found alive has faded.

But her siblings — Laura, Chad, and Jeremy Hall — say they haven’t given up on finding and bringing her home.

“At this point we know she’s no longer with us,” Chad said. “Her spirit is soaring around there somewhere. And at this point, we just need to continue our investigations and try to bring her home.
“We just want to bring her home, as much as we can.”
