Wow, that is weird! It could be an internet troll who likes to place deceased people's pics in various advertisements - OR it could have been done by the killer to brag about his killing.

Those are them. I just don't get it either. I half wonder if someone was trying to do a tribute that failed (JH?), but then suspect a troll or the killer.

It does look like a kind of tribute, a bit weird though. I was just watching a Jack the Ripper doc and I had never registered before ,but his first victim was on 31st August [1888]
at 2.30'ish in the morning. Quite close to SV's murder. The spree was five victims which ended in November the same year, and then stopped.

They should be able to track it from the funeral parlor website logs.

I feel the same. Something's not right with that. If it was some kind of troll joke, the perp would probably only do one picture and then move on. But to me, five pictures suggests some kind of obsession/fixation. Perhaps the kind of obsession a murderer might have.

Could be that the "hero" is the invididual viewer (i.e. you and I put our own name/face to the vid, or the name/face of someone we wish to acknowledge?? Maybe not ... but nice thought anyway, eh? ).

If someone knows who the Asian man is around the beginning of the above clip, might help us understand the meaning a bit more. Will keep searching to see where else the video exists. Google hits:

IMO, it does seem to be a tribute. Why does it seem to me that AG would be such a perfect soulate for Lachlan?

I still find the pics really eery and odd. If it was someone's way of saying - "What a way to make the news" type of thing, I'm afraid that person is way off.

I hope LE traces the IP to the person(s) involved.

And - in the video posted by sillybilly is the woman speaking German or a language Audrey might have been familiar with?

My take on the video(and I could be way off here)..Unless you were the original owner of those photos, to upload them from a funeral tribute site and transfer them seems oddly disrespectful to me (thinking how I would feel if someone did that of one of my family members) and to me while the original vid may have been sincere the changes come across as sarcastic to me.

The reason for the question is that sometimes there are not-so-good people out on Hallowe'en.

Those images have been there for a long, long time now. I believe those pictures were there since the very first time I went to that site, which was shortly after Audrey's Memorial IIRC.

To be honest, it never crossed my mind that whoever uploaded those images meant any disrespect. I thought the person was trying to honour Audrey in their own way. JMHO

About two years ago, I was looking for e-cards, and found a site that had those exact same images (amongst many others), where people just uploaded a picture, and then could use that uploaded image in any of the big selection of images there.

Will try and see if I can find that site again -- I don't know if that person used that site for Audrey's pictures though.
