I was humbled and feeling pretty stupid when it was pointed out that many people know who Gary Ridgeway is. So, I looked up passing a polygraph. This is what I found:

LINK - http://www.polygraph-test.net/

Therefore, one is able to LIE and pass the test while others (who are INNOCENT) may fail the test due to nervousness.

Something also tells me that there are some drugs (which are not detected in blood and urine) which will enable a person to pass the polygraph, guilty or innocent.

Happy I've learned something today! :)

No need to be "humbled and feeling pretty stupid". I'll bet yer boots that you know some stuff that I and others don't, and probably neither of us knows brain surgery or the brain surgeon doesn't know about Gary Ridgway (although he should really study that brain ;)) Doesn't make any of us stupid .. we just know different stuff.

No need to know about Ridgway. Sometimes those of us who delve into the dark side wish we had stayed on the lighter side of life.

:tyou: for the kind words sillybilly. And you're right, indeed! One of the principles of Buddhism is 'to empty the mind of all knowledge'. It's a difficult task but it means that we'd be happier if we lived in a childlike state of having an 'innocent mind'.

But hey - about that brain surgery thing.......please jump right up here onto my surgical table. I promise - I KNOW what I'm doing!!:juggle::lol:

Hmm .. if we lived in a childlike state, we'd all be sitting around watching zooboomafoo and, well .. who would run the country? Oh wait ... little Stevie H ;)

Will pass on the brain surgery, cuz i think i have things to do .. but thank you for your kind offer :seeya:

Very young, with guns...
http://www.thespec.com/news/crime/article/642069--pair-sought-in-armed-hamilton-home-invasion
"Pair sought in armed Hamilton home invasion

Two women escaped injury when two men barged into a west Hamilton apartment Monday night.

Police said the women answered a knock the front door about 6:30 p.m. when two men, one armed with a handgun, burst inside".

"The first suspect is said to be a black male, who stands about 5 foot 2 inches tall. He is thought to be 15 or 16 years old, has a thin build and wore a black hooded jacket and jeans.

The other suspect – the one with the handgun – is an older black male, between 20 and 24 years with a large build."

Quoted from dotr's post above:

The first suspect is said to be a black male, who stands about 5 foot 2 inches tall. He is thought to be 15 or 16 years old, has a thin build and wore a black hooded jacket and jeans.

In my experience, this sounds like a 'drug run/money for drugs search'. The younger ones are the runners while the older ones handle the money. I also suspect that the younger one could be even younger - possibly 10 - 14. That's an age group which acts as drug runners very often.

Very sad situation indeed.

Now, back to AG - does anyone know if houses in her area had been involved in these types of home invasions? Or, had the gangs and guns types been hanging around in her area last year at this time?

I haven't posted on this thread in a while, but I felt compelled to post here today, as I've been thinking of Audrey as the anniversary of her death approaches. :(

I've been frustrated by the lack of progress, and I admire all of the diligent folks who have been posting here, still brainstorming and coming up with new avenues of thought. Thank you very much.

I wish all of you, and all of the people who cared about Audrey a warm, thoughtful and wonderful holiday season with the people they care most about.

I'm having a difficult time not thinking of Audrey Gleave right now. Yesterday, I had to drive a great deal around Ontario leaving my home at 6 am. It struck me once again how DARK it remains until well past 7.30 am.

As Snoopster remarked - I'm very upset at the lack of info coming from LE. Not even an update. No progress?

God bless Audrey Gleave. We shall continue in our pursuit of her killer. I, for one, will not quit now.

This is supposed to be a season of Stollen cakes, gathering with loved ones, kindness and hope. And a season of love.

Audrey isn't here to see the 2011 holiday season. This saddens me greatly.

God bless Audrey.......

Young offender attacks 'older' woman:

http://www.cp24.com/servlet/an/loca...223_arrest_sex_assault/20111223/?hub=CP24Home

Peel police have arrested a young teen in connection with a violent sexual assault on a 51-year-old Brampton woman.

Police say the public played a crucial role in identifying a suspect after authorities released a composite sketch yesterday of a man wanted for the assault..

The suspect, who can't be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is 15 years old.

I will be leaving for a few days over the holiday season, but I just wanted to wish all the WS family, especially those whom I have been sluething with for almost one year on our special lady AG, my warmest best wishes for the this holiday season and all the best for 2012 in health and happiness.

Be safe and be careful over the holidays and I look forward to returning to the AG forum in our quest for justice for AG.

Dear AG, -- may your soul be at peace in at least knowing that we will never quit.

Heavenly peace to all!

ROS

ROS:
Isn't it so very sad that we have marked off one year with the rememberance of Audrey and still no justice! I haven't been able to look at fruit cake without thinking of AG.

Christmas lights in Hamilton courtesy the Spec! I was intrigued by the lighted mailbox (shown twice in video) that opens up and a little bird pops out, it reminded me of Audrey somehow and I wondered what would be her message?

The video of the lights (which gets pretty cool midway on) is to the right of the page under Xmas lights, having trouble posting direct link, however this link about the nabbed dog, posed an interesting (but sad)situation- that I wondered how AG would have handled...
