Every attack makes me think of Audrey. Here's another:

http://www.cp24.com/servlet/an/local/CTVNews/20111224/121224_attempted_murder/20111224/?hub=CP24Home

Police said they were called to a property in the area of Spadina Avenue and Cecil Street at around 2:20 a.m. after the woman was found on the sidewalk suffering from obvious signs of trauma.

The nature of her injuries has convinced police that she fell to the ground from a certain height.

The woman, whose name and age have not been revealed, is listed in critical condition.

What a crying shame........

Choosing to say this a bit differently this year - sending well wishes to all here at WS during this holiday season. For those of us who are determined to find Audrey Gleave's killer, this is indeed a difficult time of the year. It's one year later and we have no info from LE. Nothing. How truly sad.

May all of you W-sleuthers find peace in your hearts daily, kindness in your actions always, compassion in your souls constantly and hope in our efforts here for Audrey.

Namaste......Blessings........

A four-year-old girl was found outside a home in the middle of the night and police are investigating whether the child was harmed by a stranger.

The circumstances of the case are unclear at this point but police say they were called to a home in the Bathurst Street and Wilson Avenue area at around 3:30 a.m. after the child was found a short distance from where she was staying.

An unknown man was also reportedly seen darting through some backyards on the street.

Authorities will not comment on initial reports which suggested the little girl may have been forcibly taken from the home and sexually assaulted. However, an officer with 32 Division told CP24 that officers from the sex crimes unit will be arriving on the scene shortly and will address the media.

It is believed the child is from out of town and was staying at the home with her family for a visit with relatives.

Could this be our AG, SL and SV guy going for different age groups in order to throw off LE?:curses:

Again, young and (possibly) close:

A four-year-old girl found outside a home early Monday morning was abducted and sexually assaulted, Toronto police have confirmed.

Police allege that a male suspect entered a residence in the Bathurst Street and Wilson Avenue area shortly after 3 a.m.

The child was abducted from the home and sexually assaulted by the suspect, police said.

Family members were able to locate the child shortly after she was abducted, and saw a man fleeing the scene.

Police describe the suspect as a white man in his early 20s, approximately 5'8" tall with an average build.

Sorry, I don't have a link because it was on TV.

Almost a year later and no arrests :(
I had been hoping for a "new installment" to JW's great write-ups today .... hopefully on the 30th?

If JW decides to write a bit more about Audrey's case, I would like it to be about Audrey's visit to the Vet (MOO) It's still unclear if that visit took place last Dec. 27th or the previous week. If someone wants to add more questions, please feel free to do so.
Some of the many questions we still have re last visit to the Vet:

Was she in good spirits?
Was she her usual self? or did she look very ill?
Where the dogs also ill, hence bringing them along with her? or
did Audrey just got vitamins/medicine for them?

And if the latter, was it unusual to bring the dogs if only going to pick up vitamins?
Did she happen to mention that she was ill,
and
that a friend of hers brought her soup that day?
Did she mention she was taking any medication herself? (flu, infection, arthritis?)
Did they talk at all about what they did for Christmas and/or Boxing day or any plans for the New Year celebrations?
Did she talk to the Vet and/or his two sons or perhaps another employee?
Do any of them remember what she was wearing?
Gleave house Scenic
Audrey Gleave , lived on a secluded rural property that looks like a pastoral paradise, not the scene of unspeakable horror.

And here are my questions for JW/anyone writing about this case:

1. Were the coffee group people alarmed when Audrey failed to show up? Did they try to contact her?

2. How can we be certain AG wasn't held captive when she claimed to be unwell?

3. Did LV feel something was strange when LV delivered the soup?

4. Was it PK's usual habit of phoning AG on Christmas day regarding the cake/delivery?

5. Was PK alarmed when AG said to deliver the cake on a different day?

6. When were the dogs last seen out in AG's yard?

7. When was the Camaro last driven?

8. Who all has been polygraphed?

9. What was the weapon(s) used?

10. Why the SILENCE from LE after one, full year?

11. Did LE mess the entire thing up by arresting DLS and plastering the arrest on every newspaper known to man?

12. With whom was AG communicating online?

And........so much more.

This sadness overwhelms me.

Oh and 13. Have LE COMPLETELY dismissed the link with SL and SV with AG? If so........WHY?

I would like to add these questions. if I may..
Was Audrey happy and generally fufilled( intellectually)before she died?
Did AG express any feelings of deep regret in life perhaps regarding relationships with others ,or career path taken,or unfufilled desire for children?
Do AG's dogs continue to thrive in the new home and is there any chance that the dogs ( through behavior or DNA ) may still offer some clues in the murder?

Just thinking back through some of the details ..

PK said that AG had her coat on when he discovered her body, but I would be interested if underneath her coat, she was wearing the same clothing as when LV brought the soup.

Yes, and further to that:
- was AG's coat buttoned/zipped up
- was she wearing anything under the coat
- we know her pants were torn, were other clothing items torn as well
- was she wearing socks with the shoes (or were the shoes slipped on quickly)
- was the door to the house from the garage left open/ajar

Still.......many questions......cannot stop thinking of Audrey......

We are about to do the mundane things we do at the end of each year - hang up a new calendar, perhaps go to a party, if staying at home we might watch the ball drop in Times Square......so many mundane things.

It's been ONE YEAR since Audrey was murdered and we're about to enter 2012.

I think of Audrey a great deal. I'm saddened by the murder and the lack of LE finding the killer.

I want to wish all of you a happy and healthy 2012. Let's keep up our good work/sleuthing for Audrey Gleave.

;) I guess we are on the same page SB. Hope LE asked this question to both LV and the Vet/sons/employees to compare with what she was wearing when she was found. There's something about the soup story that doesn't add up. If Audrey was THAT ill on the 27th that she needed soup to be delivered, why did she leave a few hours later to go get vitamins for her dogs?
I am also still trying to 'picture' Audrey receiving the bowl of homemade soup in the garage, and not inviting her friend in for having the kindness of not only preparing it, but bringing it over. JMHO. :cup::hen:

like they say: "the devil is in the details"

Peeping Tom Followed Woman

http://www.cp24.com/servlet/an/local/CTVNews/20111228/111228_suspicious_man/20111228/?hub=CP24Home

Did this type of thing happen to AG while she was driving home?

Police said the man was spotted after the woman returned home from work. Police believe the woman may have been followed home.

The suspect fled the scene on foot or in a small four-door grey/silver car.

Investigators searched the backyard, finding several objects piled below the bedroom window and fresh footprints in the mud.

ETA: Quoted from Hazel

If Audrey was THAT ill on the 27th that she needed soup to be delivered, why did she leave a few hours later to go get vitamins for her dogs?

The ONLY thing/reason I can think of is that Audrey's care for her precious dogs outweighed her care for her own health. That said, if AG was THAT unwell, I'm quite certain the vet would have the dog meds delivered to AG's house.

Very confusing........:beagle: :heartluv: :beagle:

One other thing that bothers me in JW's in-depth articles .. who provided JW the specific detail that AG was wearing her stretch or stretchy pants? IMO, most people would describe a visual of pants by colour or design, not texture or something that you "feel". It seemed like a strange detail to me when there is no mention of the visual aspect.

Maybe JW got it from PK saying that AG was known to wear stretchy pants often. But we don't know the colour of them - nothing.

Perhaps the killer provided JW with the details?????? Or LE??????

http://www.thespec.com/news/local/article/594717--audrey-s-story-continues
"Through middle age, she was in good shape physically, played tennis and golfed, but in the final years of her life, her health was not the best. She smoked and lamented putting on weight in the winter. She often wore stretchy pants that she was always hitching up, a pack of cigarettes bulging in the back pocket".
