FWIW, I'm still convinced that AG, SV and SL were the victims of the same perp. As Woodland said......I hope that the people in Florida do their homework about JV.

Jumping off your post Woodland ... and thinking of Shelley's case. On one of JV's friend's FB, the girl has a great pic of herself and her horse in front of one of the stalls ... JV has commented (in caps) "GREAT PHOTOGRAPHER". Left me with the impression it was him who took the pic. FWIW, and not that i can make anything out of it right now, but he also has a FB friend BR who is an equine/sports photographer. OR, now that I think of it, maybe he admires whomever took the pic.

Arghhh ... now have to re-find the FB account to find the date of that comment.

That's right SB - I meant to add that small world shrinks even further when the same guy is also a dead ringer for a composite sketch of a POI in a near death beating in the vicinity of one of the murder victims.

Oh thank you, Woodland! For some reason, I'd forgotten about the sketch of the guy who was seen walking near SL's place on the day of the attack.

I swear - these three cases are related/have the same perp!

Very interesting, this woman was described as a recluse who sent a great many texts and was murdered soon after Xmas.

"Despite their close relationship, the court heard that things changed on Christmas Day, 2007, when Symons attacked Mrs Goodband.

After allegedly beating her around the head it was him who called police. Officers waited for her to return from dog-walking and she told them nothing had happened.

Mrs Goodband wrote in a diary entry written around the time of the incident: 'Chris snapped today. Bad night. Not a day to remember.'

'(He) went wild. I got thumped aside my jaw - ear - deaf - aches. Bashed about head. Must think about future, what went wrong.'

She added: 'Perhaps once again I have (unclear) my usefulness".

Interesting that the article has now been edited to delete:

Woodland and dotr,
that's really mysterious, how similar the processes are!

Was knocked for a loop when the article reflected much of what I think happened to AG - a few minor variations, but pretty much the same.

The article shows that a 30-year relationship can mean nothing when it comes to money, and one might need a little help to get the job done and or cover one's tracks.

That is eerily similar. Leads me back to thinking that a "relationship" may have changed. IMO, the cookie cutter Will AG signed back in 2007 was done outside of the watchful eye of a Lawyer or anyone else close to her (her close Vet friend) There were only 2 people plus AG who were guaranteed to know of it's existence- the witnesses.
Only one person to gain anything from AG's death, but surely a water proof story. I'd be curious to find out if JV is receiving any form of support from a kind relative? MOO

Some good points MsS - have also wondered how JV has done financially since Dec 2010 and AG's close vet friend was a logical choice to witness AG's Will since LV once stated that AG was always asking her to look after her pets if/when something happened. Jmo.

Imo though, AG did not write the Will LE found soon after AG's death. The contents are not logical, the writing/presentation is poor at best and one witness could have been deceased prior to AG's death (convenient).

It's too bad PK did not elaborate when posting here on his conversations with AG regarding what should happen after her death. What was his role to be? Seems to have turned out to be nothing (posting the recipe was nice, but ...). Was LV aware of what PK had discussed with AG?

Agreed - the similarities here are quite amazing. I'm now of this mind:

1. The motive in AG's murder was indeed greed/money. (But I'm still thinking of that hot Camaro and any links to DM).

2. I suppose my biggest question is this - WHY was AG subjected to mutilation/the taking of trophies? Why so much violence that a seasoned detective was alarmed?

3. And where does this leave us with the SV and SL connections?

4. Also wondering/concerned that JV had perhaps all along been dependent on a 'lovely aunt' for finances.

5. I'm wondering if PK knows anything about JV and could he possibly assist LE in their investigations.

6. Lastly......let's take note that nothing (praise God) to this extent has taken place in Southern Ontario where the perp hasn't been caught since JV has been incarcerated. Coinkydinky?????????????

All good points. I know this is totally farfetched (forgive me, please :blushing:) but could there be a CLUE in the recipe itself? Was PK TRYING to tell LE/us something about a Will, a place, an event, something.......??????

Think = "Texas Stollen" = Texas is a major horse riding/owning State.

Pardon the rambling here, but............

Snipped for brevity -

Seems to me for the same reason the guy in the recent article dumped his friend of 30 years down a 12 foot shaft in the ground.

JMO but I did see something in the posting of the recipe - the same 'salute' he gave to AG when relating the 'stolen' mailbox part at her memorial. Both made me choke. Up. Chuck.

^^^^^^^ I hear ya, Woodland.

Can you all feel my desperation here in hoping AG's case is solved. Gee, talk about grasping at straws......or at cakes!! :cupcake:

Would be interesting to know if JV drives, what vehicle he normally has, and what vehicle he may have arrived in Florida with.

RBBM.

What if JV's "support" came from an angry, manipulated and sexually confused youth with something to gain (money, drugs, booze) and something to prove, (sexual relations with a female) and the "trophy" to show the murder was done?

Oh, that's interesting. For some unknown reason, I've always pictured in my mind that JV FLEW to Florida. Can't explain why... But you are more than probably right about making the trip in a car.

Now - sports car? Truck? Fast? More eco-friendly? A little puddle-jumper? Something to attract teenage boys' eyes?

Lots to ponder here.

Do you have anyone in mind? Or, did you just toss that out there?

Thanks,

Tossing it out there as a hypothetical situation where a" strong " perp. dominates and manipulates a "weaker" one.
