Re bruise on hand...this interview was done when? Bruise would be long gone. KW had the motive but not the wherewithal.

Yes, KW was driving on the 401 - there was a sign saying Avenue Road. KW was talking about when he went to ask BS about how BS got his father's business. The camera zoomed in on KW's hand for a moment which I find odd and made me wonder why. The segment is right after there is an audio recording of BS speaking (deposition). I hope that helps.

All MOO.

I don't know if it's just the camera, or if it looks like a scratch perhaps, that has healed? It was at 17:42 on my version's timeline at the Fifth Estate segment. I wonder on what date it was filmed? Does anyone else see anything?

As someone who does not believe KW has anything whatsoever to do with the murders, other than to make himself front and centre for reasons unknown, I sincerely hope the TPS investigation has not been derailed to the same extent as has the discussion in this thread.

Agreed. Not only is the interview ~ a month later, he is a contractor, works in construction.

I don't really think the discussion has been derailed, I think these are pretty warranted questions and concerns.

FWIW, I don't see bruising in that picture. I do see a fingernail that needs to be trimmed, though.

Attention seeking and this is how he's going to get rich on his own now (believing it will parlay into reality show fame or some such pie in the sky) without the LS against Barry. He didn't have to make an honest living until BS encouraged him to and supported him, including paying for rehab.

TPS getting derailed. Nope, they will shut out the noise. If he is a suspect in any way, it will need to mesh with hard evidence. I am of the belief that they verified his alibi early without talking to him. Any potential peripheral involvement still being examined.

Thank you, deugirtni! What I see is what appears to be a bruise on the top fleshy part of KW’s left hand between his thumb and forefinger. I imagine a belt wrapped tightly around the hand followed by strangulation of someone could cause such an injury, IMO.

KW is a site supervisor and IMO does not do the construction work but supervised the work of others in the trades and therefore an injury like the one I see IMO would be unlikely.

If the bruise was severe it may well take a long time to fully heal, especially on an older man, IMO.

I’ll go back to reading now as I don’t want my comments interpreted as derailing the discussion here. Thanks again for your response, deugirtni!

I hope Mr. and Mrs. Sherman’s murder will be solved soon and that their family finds answers that lead to peace and acceptance. IMO, none of them deserved the horror that they have experienced.

ALL MOO.

It looks to me like a surprisingly smooth hand with a carefully over- grown shaped finger nail, for a man who works in construction, imo speculation.

With all due respect, you do not understand the trades. Just because he is a supervisor does not mean he is not going to be involved in any work. Of course from time to time he would be involved and could get a bruise. I know people who work in the trades.

And can't we all get a bruise, not in a trade, not involved in a crime?

You're not derailing the discussion, brightii, no worries :). I think you speak for all of us in saying you wish that the murder of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman can be solved, and the family can find peace and acceptance.

Probably a scheduling issue. LE work shifts, not 9-5 and KW works during the day and if he had another CA meeting then 9pm could be reasonable assuming that LE didn't expect the meeting to go 4 hours.

Do you think there is a reason why it wasn't Det Gomes who interviewed KW? .

RSBM. I believe Gomes is a detective-sergeant. Since she is a sergeant, interviews are probably done by the detectives below her.

I :blushing: do not. I only used it twice. I am a creature of habit after using the website for years. I just couldn't get the hang of Taptalk it seemed like a clunky interface to me. Too set in my ways for that newfangled app. :grandma:

Anyone else use Taptalk that can answer?

Bruises usually heal completely in two weeks. There is no way KW hand bruise is related to this crime.

  • #816
Wondering if KW was under surveillance by LE and/or private investigators soon after the deaths were discovered. JMO.

If he was he wouldn't care. He's not their killer.

  • #817
I can think of two reasons. First, he is pretty full of himself and they may not want to give him the satisfaction of being interviewed by the chief investigator. Second, it's pretty evident from his statements that KW has significant issues with women, and they may have thought he would be more open with male detectives. They can strike a "women, amirite?" tone with him that Det. Gomes might not.

I agree with your latter point definitely. He hated HS and didn't seem to be able to explain why other than she was questioning how the money he was given spent. No word on her demanding BS cut it off. (And I don't think it is unreasonable to ask where the money is going). And the fact that he said that Gomes was a bad liar but nothing against the male detectives who were doing most of the public media scrums prior to the last press conference. Sounds with the evidence of HS bleeding and scratches from her face and lying face down in the blood for a while, that whoever "did the dirty deed" really hated HS as much (or more) than BS. IMO

I thought it was said earlier it looked like Honey was pushed down and her face hit the floor causing bleeding on her face. She probably was fighting them but that is not what killed her, IMO

Maybe I'm wrong but I think KW wants this solved as much as we do. My concern is if it's someone with money who might have hired someone from a foreign country, this might never be found out. JMO

This was someone's opinion; just speculation.
