''She has several tattoos, including flowers and a bird on her ankle, a lotus symbol on her ankle, an ohm symbol on her left hand, a larger design featuring a fairy and mushrooms on her right tricep, a triangle on one of her fingers, script on her hip and half of a yin-yang symbol on her wrist, among others.

Friends were heading out Saturday, Aug. 27 to scope out the areas around Lost Lake, Green Lake and Alta Lake, and invited the community to join in the effort.

In a Facebook post, locals were asked to "Keep and eye out on drop offs, lookout points, and near water."

The post continued, "If you want to help search we’re asking people to look around her frequent spots which are Wedge Mountain and Rainbow Lake. As well as in town near nature spots. Please continue to share awareness so we can bring Clorrica home safely."

''She is always ready for an adventure, the happiest morning person you could meet," Riggs' friends told Pique in an email. The group of seven friends—Kalina Billings, Amanda Nordeen, Ashley Brien, Natasha Matthes, April Standlund, Rachelle Dunn and Barnabas Bekei—drove to Whistler from Alberta after learning Riggs was missing.

Riggs' last communication with those friends came in the form of a text sent at 1:12 p.m. on Aug. 23, the day she went missing. "The last message we got was 'love you,'" they explained. "We are all holding that last message close to our hearts."

''Her friends have also been tackling as many trails and as much terrain as they've been able to, in an attempt to retrace any steps Riggs could have taken. "We only have the last known location of her vehicle to go on at this moment. Along with the hard reality that she has been struggling with her mental health," they wrote.

The group said Riggs is a "very avid hiker," adding, "She is smart and never leaves without being prepared and telling someone."

A week and one day ago, Clorrica Riggs left her home in Whistler Blackcomb staff housing, telling friends she was heading out for a walk. Her silver Toyota RAV4 was later found parked at the trailhead to Rainbow Lake, but she hasn't been seen since.

Friends, family members and strangers are now asking for the community's help as they continue looking for the 29-year-old after authorities reportedly called off the search.

Whistlerites are invited to join a community search scheduled to take place at 8 a.m. on Thursday morning, Sept. 1. Volunteers will meet at the Rainbow Trailhead parking lot, where a command centre will be set up and teams will be deployed to scope out specific areas of Rainbow Mountain. Participants are asked to come prepared with food, water, a fully charged cell phone, and knowledge of their ability to complete the hike. Volunteers are also encouraged to download the Gaia Maps app on their phones prior to the search, which will help keep track of terrain already covered and collate the data in one place.

More than 20 volunteers of friends and concerned citizens conducted a search with the help from Whistler RCMP and park rangers, Foreman said.

Foreman also said a private helicopter was assisting in the morning search, above the volunteer hikers.

“We’re all still concerned that Clorrica may have become injured in the dense woods, which we have not been able to effectively search on foot,” Foreman said.

The body of a Whistler woman who went missing last month has been found, according to social media posts from her family.

Clorrica Riggs, 29, was last seen on Tuesday, Aug. 23, when she told friends she was heading out for a walk about 2 p.m.

Her car was later found parked at the trailhead to Rainbow Lake, located on Alta Lake Road.

In a post to Facebook on Sept. 25, Riggs' sister Coleen shared the tragic news.

"Again I would like to thank everyone for helping the family find her. You are amazing people and I really appreciate the time volunteers and friends took to finding her," she wrote.

"Don't forget to communicate with one another, and most importantly be kind to yourselves and each other. I will forever hold my sister near my heart."

Rest in peace, Clorrica. :(
