Search continues for missing two-year-old
The search for a missing two year-old-boy continues from the air, water, and land around the Wapiti River.
"We have several boats on the water, including the RCMP boat, the Fish & Wildlife boat, and several other volunteers that we've used in previous searches, as well as some air assets, and a helicopter from a local pilot. We're using quads and foot patrol as well."

Community rallying around family of missing child
As emergency services continue to search for a missing toddler, members of the Grande Prairie community are finding ways to show their support to his family. Volunteers have been organizing on social media to search outside of the active zone, bringing coffee, food, and gas to those searching, and making donations..
Crews will likely work until dark again Monday night and resume their efforts Tuesday morning.

Is there any possibility that he may have gone into the forest behind the campsite while the family was playing in the water? Since they mentioned family, were there more children around?

I can't keep it in, but two years old toddlers seem to be at a great risk to get lost... I don't have kids, but maybe the combination of being able to move fast and the lack of judgement plays a role in this?

Oh no this is such sad news.

So sad, so expected. Another child to grieve for. I'm beginning to HATE water! Lost child + water = disaster. It's depressing. And his family must be devastated. In his picture, Myles looked like he would be a real go-getter in a few years, but, sadly, he won't have the chance.

Sleep well, baby.
