Wow! Surprising the little girl hasn't given up any information unintentionally. Maybe she is used to changing her name? Definitely a weird situation.

Maybe the little girl is giving the only name she knows. If the child has never been registered, then whoever was looking after her has probably never applied for the child tax credit .. then probably has never submitted an income tax form.

I wonder how the mother and child made it to Brandon. Did they hitchhike? Did she have money to ride a Greyhound? Did she escape from a house right in Brandon, like Amanda Berry?

I'm terribly curious, but I have a feeling that as soon as the police figure out who she is, we won't hear another word about it.

The Brandon Police Service continues to appeal to the public for any information that may help to identify a woman and her young daughter.
Police often ask for public assistance in investigations of missing people, but in this case, BPS knows exactly where the woman, 30, and her seven-year-old daughter are located.

It's like some kind of Munchausen's. Poor girl.

If she had some custody order in Ontario, why didn't anyone report them missing? They were in Manitoba since the end of August. Thankfully she didn't harm her little girl but still scary to think how she slipped away without anyone noticing. Baffling.

I guess we'll never know. As far as I'm concerned they're going to close this file and we won't know anything.

I know. The mother should be ashamed of her self for putting her daughter threw all that for no good reason!!! Even putting her daughters face out there. Ughh I'm actually really happy to hear she was charged. She deserves it.
