Found Deceased Canada - Cameron Bailie, 27, Oshawa, Ont, 10 Jan 2017

I was reading content on Camerons page a few days ago. Someone made mention that he had only been in the water approximately 3 weeks. Odd considering he went missing in January. Has anyone else heard this as well?? Can't believe everything you read!

There was also video on his site asking if anyone recognizes the person or car; they aren't saying this person did something wrong, just maybe they had seen something odd that day.

Its been 3 months since Cameron's body was pulled from Lake Ontario any updates on his
autopsy or any new evidence been discovered since then.

Bumping this for Cameron.

Any updates on toxicology/autopsy results for Cameron. His family deserves some answers.
Maybe they have been released but have not seen any postings.

I have not seen any updates in MSM in regards to Cameron's toxicology/autopsy report. Its been about 41/2 months since Cameron's body was recovered from Lake Ontario. I think the results would shed some light as to how he ended up in the lake.
IMO I think Cameron was a victim of foul play or at the least was lured out of his home under false pretenses.

<modsnip>

Its been almost 5 months since Cameron's body was recovered in Lake Ontario and still no official toxicology/autopsy report has been released to the public. At this time there should be at least a preliminary finding released by the Coroners Office.
Is this a technical or political issue.

Still no word about a toxicology/autopsy report for Cameron. The manner of his disappearance and death trouble me and would like to get some answers as would his family.

Sunday Dec. 10 was 11 months to the day that Cameron disappeared from his home and his body was later discovered in Lake Ontario 51/2 months later. His disappearance and death still remain a mystery to me and probably to his Family. Hopefully there will be some answers by Jan. 10 of 2018 on the 1 year anniversary of his disappearance.

It was recently posted to FB that the autopsy came back unexplained, not sure if toxicology is done/released yet

Unexplained sounds strange. I guess there is a possibility foul play was involved in Cameron's death.

Welcome to Ws eligibso!
Thanks dotr.
this is close to home for me as I grew up(elementary to highschool) with Cameron and we were friends even after that. I do not understand how the police have treated this case the way they have as it definitely seems suspicious. If his autopsy came back unexplained, he didn't commit suicide (no one who knows him ever believed he did) so how did he end up in the lake to be found 5-6 months after disappearing.

This little article was released today. http://www.durhamradionews.com/archives/107702

If I were family, I would ask the cops one question about the shoes: “what can you tell us about their appearance when they were found?”

This might yield some interesting answer and bring up some great discussion. Why? Because if they were found on a wet day, and they were very dry or not as wet as they should have been, my next question would become: “how do you explain that they were not as wet as they should have been for the place and weather conditions where they were found?”

Alternatively, if they were waterlogged, if could indicate they had been in the water and may have washed up vs being placed where they were found.

Where exactly were they found anyhow? Along the shoreline? On the pier? Had snow melted making them more visible than they might have been previously?

How about the laces? Did Cameron normally tie and untie them to take them off or put them on? Were they tied and shouldn’t have been or untied when this was a-typical for Cameron? Laces may seem insignificant until you realize that historically spies had used the way their shoes were tied to pass messages to each other. You can google this. It probably won’t apply here but, it knowing this did make me realize the importance of the laces. I would also ask if any DNA besides Cameron’s was found on the laces or in the knot or on or in the shoes themselves. Small items may have big clues.

Very intriguing stuff!
The shoelace thing apparently also popular with magicians..

Steganography is the practice of leaving a concealed message out in the open. Wallace credited magician John Mulholland for introducing new tactics for this kind of communication to the CIA when he became their consultant in 1953. “He wrote about how you can communicate," Wallace said. “He talked about how magicians could communicate when they were doing tricks." One method for communication was how shoelaces were tied. Connecting them between the holes on both sides of a shoe in different ways signaled certain things such as “follow me" or “I have brought another person." Hiding messages in plain sight continues to be an effective tactic.

The shoes were found by an older couple, I believe, one by the bathroom and another by the pier I think. They put them together, assuming someone would come back for them. The area had been searched previously but no shoes were found until 8 days later.
