Had the grand daughter of Catherine reach out to me today with some new information about the case. Something to note is that the article states she went missing from her home.

I wanted to provide an update to this case. After talking with Catherines granddaughter over the last few days, we now have a better understanding of the exact circumstances leading up to when she went missing.


According to the old newspaper clipping, she was last seen at her residence. Her residence was located on 19 Layton Avenue in Halifax. It is known that she would often go to a quonset hut on 14 St. Micheals Street to play bingo, and its likely she was going to do the same thing on the day she went missing. Now we know the quonset hut no longer exist and its place is a church. Her maiden name is MacDonald
