Circumstances of Disappearance
Cecilia (sometimes spelled as Cicilia) first arrived in Vancouver on August 1, 1989 to visit her mother. She subsequently left her mother's home to live on the streets; she was last seen by her mother in October 1989. A family member reported that Cecilia may have moved to Vancouver Island, but this has never been confirmed.
Cicilia is one of the 21 confirmed victims of the Highway of Tears. She disappeared approximately one year prior to her cousin, Delphine Nikal, who is also a confirmed victim of the highway.
No arrests have been made in connection with her disappearance and Cicilia remains missing.
