Circumstances of Disappearance:
Trottier was last seen on the Kehewin Cree First Nations Reserve near Bonnyville, Alberta, in late 1998. His sister reported him missing 7 years later as he led a transient lifestyle. Prior to his disappearance, Trottier had lived in Vancouver, British Columbia, and he may have traveled back there. Few details are available regarding his disappearance and his whereabouts remain unknown.

I have the impression that he was murdered because of his race. In Canada, there are many deaths for this matter... It is a highly developed country but they abuse its indigenous people... It is like the case of the Highway of Tears...
