B.C. records shocking 589 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours

British Columbia has once again smashed the record for the number of new COVID-19 cases reported in a day, with a whopping 589 new cases on Friday.

In a written statement, provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry also confirmed two new deaths, bringing B.C.’s total to 275.

BC's Covid-19 "Dashboard". I'm in the Fraser Health Authority region which has the highest number of cases in total, but it is a very large geographical area that goes all the way from Burnaby up into the Fraser Canyon.
