It's hard to read to read about the mad scramble to obtain vaccines. It reminds me of the international battles in March to obtain masks and other protective equipment. Vaccine manufacturers are claiming production issues, the EU is asserting controls to ensure their citizens receive appropriate supply prior to exports. Questions around the vaccine and new strains are emerging. Nationalism is emerging throughout global communities.

Canada needs to invest more heavily in local production to meet September targets.
