The Amber Alert was issued at 7:53 p.m. but Saskatoon radio station CJWW reported before then that the girl had been reported missing at about 3:30 p.m.

I wonder why it took 4 hours for the AA to come out. If someone saw her being thrown into the back of a car, wouldn't LE have known about that pretty quickly?

Just guessing, but it probably took some time to get the surveillance video for pics we are seeing now. IMO....

- a ball cap: black with a blue & white front?
- a red t-shirt with a white image on the chest
- heavyish glasses
- blue jeans
- brown shoes or hiking boots
- no watch

He has a belly. Face looks round/pudgy from the side.

It takes ~6hrs to get to Edmonton (west) from PA, 3.5hrs to get to Regina (south), 3.5hrs to the Manitoba border (east) and 2.5hrs to La Ronge (north). There was approximately 4hrs between D. being reported missing and the AA being issued.

Positive rumours are flying around on the RCMP Sask's Facebook post but until MSM confirms I'm wary.

Prince Albert isn't a major metropolis. It has a population of about 36,000 and it's not super-close to a large city. The school yard is ion the outskirts of a residential area, well away from a highway. I'm guessing that the perp is somewhat local...if not from Prince Albert then likely from the region. I don't think you have a lot of truckers or tourists going through there.

IMO....maybe some of both. They seem to know a lot about following and talking to her, as well as time he was hanging around.

An Amber Alert for a missing eight-year-old girl has been cancelled after she was found safe Tuesday night.

Police in Prince Albert, Sask.,*issued the alert shortly before 8 p.m. CST, saying they believed the girl had been abducted.

The alert was cancelled at about 9 p.m.*

Police thanked the public for their assistance.

RCMP have cancelled a province-wide Amber Alert for an eight-year-old girl.

The RCMP had issued an alert Tuesday after a girl had gone missing in Prince Albert, Sask.

She has since been found safe.
Prince Albert Police are still actively investigating the abduction.
