Search continues for Winnipeg man who disappeared from Countryfest

Haben Kidane, the missing man’s brother, travelled to the campsite from Calgary to join the search.

“If there’s one thing going for him, he definitely has the skills to handle his own,” Haben said.

“He always likes to tinker with stuff. I’m sure if he’s out there, he’s figuring things out.”

Festival officials displayed a photo of Danny on the main stage Sunday night asking everyone to be on the lookout.

The search area includes the creek that runs along side the campground, as well as the bushy terrain which neighbours the Countryfest site.

Danny Berhie Kidane, 24, was last seen by his friends at the Dauphin Countryfest grounds June 30.

Man missing from Dauphin's Countryfest found dead

The search for a Winnipeg man who disappeared from a music festival near Dauphin over the weekend ended in tragedy Tuesday.

Family told CTV News Danny Kidane had been found dead.

That is so sad, he was only 24!
What could have happened to Danny if he was found in a creek, did he drown? speculation.
