The Toronto Police Service requests the public’s assistance locating a missing man.

David Otway, 51, was last seen on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at approximately 3:30 p.m., in the Richmond Street East and Church Street area.

He is described as 5’4", 155 lbs., with a dark complexion, shaved head, clean shaven, and brown eyes. He wears black rimmed eye glasses, dark checkered pajama bottoms, with a pair of navy 'flip flop' sandals.

I didn't find any updates. Hopefully David is somewhere safe.

I am mixed about this one, if he was found or not, I see posts from him from 2022 but then i also see his own missing person posts on his page so someone else had access to post. (and the posts were never removed), - Facebook Profile

Looks like a great guy, wondering if David or his bike were located.

Another site says he was located, complete speculation, imo.

''Effective immediately, news releases and social media posts will no longer routinely include the person’s surname or gender but will include their photo and first name.''

While Toronto Police plan to routinely not use last names and gender, there may be circumstances in which they do, for instance if a photograph of the missing individual is not available.

“We will definitely keep an eye on things,’ said Patterson. “It’s important that we have a good gauge on like what’s hitting with our community as well. Like ‘What is it in that media release that engages people the most?’ Photo and video are really big things.”
