The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a missing woman.

Desiree Tomlinson, 25, was last seen on Tuesday, February 18, 2020, in the Yonge Street and College Street area. She was reported missing to police on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.

She is described as thin build, short light brown hair, scars on her arms, and has a dragon tattoo on her stomach. At this time, no clothing description is available.

Police are concerned for her safety.''

It’s very sad to me that no one reported this woman missing for 23 months. I have a feeling she might be troubled and living on the streets from the photos provided and the description of her scars. I really hope they find Desiree and can provide the support she needs.

Speculation .... this young woman may have left her home in Ajax a few years ago and has not had a fixed address since that time, however able to access community services ... there have been comments across social media, that if true, would have had her living in an encampment under the Gardiner. Desiree is reported as having been seen last in February 2020. There were two fires reported in 2020, one between Young & Bay in March and one by Spadina on May 20th. Apparently a city task force was involved in finding homes for people from the Spadina encampments. There was an unconfirmed sighting in the Navy Wharf & Bremner area for Oct/Nov 2020. Hopeful she is found soon.
