This guy just got a new facial composition! Looks really great, similar to the last one (cannot find) but in color, and shows his age more. Guessing clothing shown is also accurate.
Also specified his features as having 'deformities' to the mouth, lower back, both big toes, and his lower back, though doesn't get into the nature of said deformities.

The new recon prompted a new release sent to local papers yesterday.
Edmonton police need help identifying man found dead in river valley encampment - Edmonton | Globalnews.ca
More than a year after a man was found dead in the North Saskatchewan River valley, Edmonton police are looking for the public’s help to identify his remains.

The remains of an unidentified man were found in an encampment in the Victoria Park area on Oct. 4, 2020.

Edmonton police said his body was not found during the annual sweep of the river valley, which took place the same week and is carried out to located any missing persons or potential human remains.

That's a very generous age range. Although it's increasing, not many males have a chance of becoming centenarians, especially if they're homeless. The most recent UN stats say there's 30.3 100+ year olds per 100k population in Canada, just slightly ahead of the US (28).

Also, I'm not sure if it's tragic, or it should be celebrated, or maybe both, that Edmonton has an annual sweep looking for human remains.

His page has been taken down...fingers crossed the new composite has led to an identification.
edit - if you follow the newspaper link in Post #1, it now says "Editor’s note: Edmonton police said on Feb. 9, 2022 that the man was positively identified based on a public tip after someone recognized the facial reconstruction released on Jan. 25. Police said the death was believed to be non-criminal, so the man would not be publicly identified." :D:D fantastic result! A 2 year old cold case solved in only a week or two.

It's unfortunate that it's necessary, but given the size of the homeless population and all the related issues - addiction, mental illness, extreme weather - it's a very good idea.
