Woman missing since Sept. 29 last seen leaving her Vaughan home

York Regional Police investigators are seeking assistance from the public in locating a missing woman from Vaughan.

Elaine Lee, 59, was last seen Sept. 29 at approximately 4:45 p.m. when she left her residence on Richbell Street. Lee, who police deem "vulnerable", was reported missing at approximately 7 a.m. Sept. 30.

Her vehicle has been located unoccupied in the area of Centre Street and Dufferin Street. She has not returned home and her family and police have been unable to locate her.

Investigators and her family are concerned for her well-being.

Lee, who is Chinese and speaks English and Cantonese, is described as five-feet, seven-inches tall and 130 lb, with a slim build.

She has a light complexion, black and brown shoulder-length hair and dark-brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black sweater, black pants, black shoes, a dark hat and a black backpack.

Police don't say what make/model.
There have been many thefts and car-jackings of luxury vehicles recently in York Region. This may be one such that went wrong.

This article says that the Elaine Lee previously located only spoke Cantonese and that she had a carer and was not familiar with the public transport system. Her caregiver got off the bus but she didn't.

It seems that it's not the same person but I'm not 100% sure that it's not her. To me the photo looks like it could possibly be the same person.

Found another article that said she is 5.4 in height, and the Elaine Lee of this thread is 5.7.
So not the same person.

I don't think the same person. Eyes and face shape are different.
