Is it possible that EB's car was there on Morrish rd on the 19th or 20th and no one noticed? Her car was found on Friday, June 22nd at around 2:30 pm.

Why is LE not charged with obstruction of justice for things they do like you will read below. They purposely did not disclose this interview and statement and used the situation to make RB look like a liar that he was not where he says he was and everyone believed LE, even EB's family. In the end this not only hurts everyone, but it shows there is no focus whatsoever on finding the whereabouts of EB or what really happened to her that night. Only one focus was to convict someone and ease the fear of the community.
How do we live with ourselves as a society when so many innocent people are devasted with acts like this. Shameful. The detectives should be charged with a crime.

(i) The Appellant’s Attendance at the Classroom

[163] The appellant told the police in several interviews that on Tuesday, June 19, 1990, the day that Ms. Bain disappeared, he went to find her at 9:00 p.m. when her Abnormal Child Psychology class ended. He said that when he arrived at the class, he saw a man standing outside the classroom. Thinking that the man might be there to meet Ms. Bain, he hid himself on a balcony above the classroom from where he could watch the students leave.

[164] At trial, the Crown led evidence that suggested that the appellant may not have gone to the classroom as he maintained. Two witnesses now support the appellant’s statements. Mr. Naz Tonbazian knew the appellant from the campus weight room and recalled seeing him arrive at the classroom and stand at the top of the stairs overlooking the classroom exit on the evening in question. Ms. Roula Mandas, Tonbazian’s girlfriend at the time and a member of the Abnormal Psychology class, confirmed that Tonbazian met her after class that night. The police located and interviewed Tonbazian in the summer of 1990 but that fact was not communicated to defence counsel and they were unaware of it at the time of trial.

matou, her car was noticed on the 20th, 21st and 22nd, in the exact same spot, it hadnt moved as per ppl at the 3R Auto. EB's car was parked in amongst the cars they were working on, you could see EB's car from the office window, about 25 ft away.

I have communicated with an indivdual who worked at the 3R Auto in the office the day they found the car. This person told me as they told LE, the car had been in the same spot since the wednesday morning the 20th.
The 3R became like a command post that day for LE. Now that doesnt mean someone couldnt come back at night, take the car, and put it back in the exact same spot. but that seems kind of silly to do that. to even drive her car the night after she was reported missing. If you were the person who harmed her, doesnt seem likely that anyone would risk being seen in her car in any day or night afterwards, that doesnt make sense, even for someone like bernardo

Wow, OK thanks. Is there a link for it? I believe you but if it's out there somewhere, that would be helpful. So there's no way her car was in Scugog on the Friday (22nd) or the Thursday (21st) and maybe not even the Wednesday either (20th).And the car was parked across the street from the garage right? In view or behind other cars? This would have had to have been done at night.

OK. So RB goes to her class that night. Where did he park? If he parked on Kingston rd, he would have seen her car there and known she was on campus, IMO. Did he see her car, I wonder.

OK just saw your last post r.e. the car eyesonly, thank you. So her car is there since early morning Wednesday, June 20th. Whoever did this, knew her or followed her to her car because of the blood and drag marks going from the outside to the inside of the car. Was the kingston road parking lot checked for blood? Putting her body into her car while it's parked on the side of the road is pretty ballsy and the perp would have needed her keys to move her car to Morrish rd. He didn't put her in the trunk but in the back of the car, why?

What kind of vehicle did RB drive? Did he have a vehicle?

[4] Elizabeth Bain’s car had a manual transmission. In out-of-court statements introduced at trial, the appellant first took the position that he could not drive a car with a manual transmission and subsequently, that he could do so if he had to but only with difficulty.

OK. This is interesting. Old Kingston Rd is in a valley and would be difficult to drive in manual transmission to get off that road. The driver would require to drive UP A HILL either way to get her car to where it was parked, therefore would have to be comfortable driving in standard.

Points from the above link:

Bain was a regular take-out customer at the Silver Dragon, a Chinese food place and the person working there was familiar with her. She was with a blond guy. Bernardo also was a regular at that restaurant.

A woman who went to the same high school and church as Bain saw her in a red Jeep with a blond guy who was wearing a baseball cap. He was yelling at her and she had her arms crossed.

When Bain's car was found, the passenger's seat was almost fully reclined.

Bain rarely smoked and was health conscious so why the pack of DuMaurier lights in her glove box?

Bernardo had dated a Filipino girl and she claimed that he would bring her into Colonel Danforth Park to fool around.

Bain's car was parked by backing it up.

Whenever there is a high profile unsolved crime, many, sometimes thousands, of leads will be called into LE. Some are cranks, some are well meaning but useless. Very few are followed up on. From what I can tell, one of these leads that was filed away was the report from David Dibben that he had seen EB's car near Lake Scogog. It was not considered significant until he recontacted LE with an amended description of the driver that fit the " prime suspect".

I just don't see how anyone could remember a banal event like an other car pulling up next to him at a stop light; much less an accurate description of the car-and driver. Yes, an other driver also reported seeing the vehicle in the Scogog area (a day earlier). This must have made quite an impression on the jury, but I wonder how many reports there were of her car being seen all over greater Toronto that the jury never heard about.

I suspect Lake Scogog was a red herring.

Yes and a possible attempt by DD at getting some reward money as suggested in the link above.

One of Bernardo's former girlfriends had called police giving his name in the weeks following Bain's disappearance because Bernardo had terrorized her in a park area near the tennis courts at the end of their relationship.

I wonder if this is the same girl who he threatened to kill after driving to an abandoned factory and she was able to escape the car and hide?
