If you mean a good timeline for RB's alibi, you are absolutely right. McMahon referred to it as the "perfect alibi".
Well duh, innocent people usually do have the perfect alibi because they didn't do it.
That timeline is exactly why LE moved their theory of Liz being murdered to before 7pm.

And the woman who saw EB around 8:30pm on morrish Rd said she came within about 3ft of her and testifies that it WAS EB or it would have had to have been an identical twin.

RC was heading home from her health food store to catch “In the Heat of the Night,” her favourite TV show airing at 9 p.m. She was walking north on Morrish Rd. just after 8 p.m. when she noticed a small grey Toyota parked in the driveway of the Three R Auto with a “very beautiful girl” in the passenger seat trying several times to get out. She looked just like Elizabeth Bain, at least an hour after the police would theorize that she had already been murdered by Baltovich.

Unable to put all my faith in this sighting. Uncomfortable with why RC didn't call LE if she saw a woman struggling to get out of a car (RC could have called from home if no payphone on the way) and RC saw a picture of EB before coming forward with her story. Imo, the fact the car was found on Morrish Road and RC walked along that road on a regular basis could have prompted the call.

RC has never said there was a struggle. At no time did she feel Liz was in any danger. She felt Liz's startled look was that maybe Liz recognize her from the area. It wasn't a fearful help me look in RC's mind.
As soon as RC saw the news report on tv she called her sighting in.
And she feels also recognized the girl in the car as the one she had seen jogging in the area as EB often did.
She felt they may have been bf and gf horsing around or having an argument, but nothing gave RC the impression the girl in the car was in any danger.

'... in the passenger seat trying several times to get out' - so what was stopping her according to RC? The driver? Not getting a startled look on EB either. Did EB suddenly sit back quietly when she saw RC?

Is this when 401 guy picks up the story, or was this after 401 guys sighting? - where he saw EB struggling and looking fearful in the passenger seat while flying along the 401 at 80 to 100 kms/hr?

The disparity has me doubting both stories.

Excerpts from RC trial testimony.

""and the car door opened a couple of times, the girl put her foot out as if she were going to get out and the door shut, and did this about twice and then she got back in.""

""I saw the passenger, just where she was. Actually she was all I was looking at. I just -- by this time I thought she looked very familiar to me, as if I had seen her before, and she looked right at me. She turned and looked right at me twice, like there, right in my face, so I got a very good look at her as I got up to her.""

Question from McMahon
Q...if this lady was in any kind of distress, would you be close enough to see her or ask her if there was a problem.
A....I was close enough but she didn't seem to be in any distress, she didn't ask for any help.
Q....when you saw this lady, she didn't appear to be in distress, how far would she be?
A....as close as I am to this chap right here (indicating)
Q....maybe four or five feet?
A....four or five feet

I'm glad RB did an interview and I hope he gets more than just an apology.

From the second part:

A lot of his spare time is spent poring over transcripts and disclosed documents, searching for clues to the identity of Bain’s killer. His appeal lawyers suggested it was Paul Bernardo — though the sex killer denied he was involved when interviewed by Toronto Police in 2007. Baltovich has his suspicions about another possible suspect closer to the Bain family, but he wants an outside police service to look into it.

“I understand that by reopening the investigation, that’s a tacit acknowledgement that they arrested the wrong man but the forensic evidence has shown they did. That ship has sailed.”

Toronto Police still feel differently. “Pending any new evidence that is brought forward,” says spokesman Meaghan Gray, “the Toronto Police Service considers this case closed,”

I wonder who he suspects may be responsible.

Also, the "new evidence" that was brought forward was that the original suspect has now been acquitted (or has been for awhile). They should at least entertain the idea that the original detectives *might* have been wrong and just take another look at the case. It's bad enough that they won't even allow outside groups conduct searches for EB, she still needs to be found.

Hopefully with this new exposure, public pressure will start to grow.

Can't believe the hate coming from EB's father. How is anything going to move forward? There better be cooperation coming from the family when this case gets a new investigation team together.

I wonder who he suspects may be responsible.

my friend who says he knew the bain family very well at the time of the disappearance says that himself and a few other people on this board already know who RB suspects, however my friend is not sure if RB would want him to share that information publicly at this time

Hopefully with this new exposure, public pressure will start to grow.

my friend hopes so too

Is this person still alive? Is this person still in the Toronto area? Is this person the same approximate age as EB? TIA

my friend who says he knew the bain family at the time of the disappearance says EB's father might be afraid for the truth to be revealed about this case, but my friend refused to expand on that at this time,

Surely the family will cooperate if they feel it's in their best interest to find EB and her killer? Surely the family will not cooperate if they feel it's not in their best interest to find EB and her killer?

Imo, this is a case where finding the body will identify the killer.

Hoping the family will realize exactly what Mandel states in her article.
RB had anonymity. He actually changed his last name. He most likely will win his civil suit for anywhere upwards to 13 million dollars.
Why then come forward like this. If he was guilty that makes absolutely no sense at all. His civil suit is based on malicious prosecution and police work, not on wrongful conviction.
Even some innocent person with a pending payout like that might just say screw finding the real truth, I'm tired of the bs and I'll take my payout and go live a good rest of my life somewhere warm.
With all that, RB still comes forward. Putting himself back in the limelight. Why? Because he really is innocent and really wants to find out who killed his girlfriend so he can be fully exonerated and take back his family name, and give the Bains closure and allow Elizabeth to be buried with dignity.
And no, RB is not a narcissist looking for the limelight and attention. This was a very difficult decision for him to do this. He's not sure if it will disrupt his civil suit in anyway. But I will say that I believe given the choice between full and absolute exoneration and 13 million dollars, there would be no choice, there is no amount of money worth what is laying over his head and the girl he loved is still missing.

RB truly is amazing eyes. Funny enough, the reason I joined this discussion and wanted to know every last detail I could find was from reading about his lawsuit - I asked myself the same question you pose - why is he coming back for more? Because he's innocent was the only logical conclusion I could draw as well.

I wish him well and much success.

i asked my friend who said he knew the bain family very welI about this,

he said,

"if RB was guilty he would sail away into the sunset out of the public eye, instead he chose to be in the spotlight, a guilty person would not do this, and then you have a family member/father of EB who is unwilling to entertain any other possibilities about what happened to his daughter, even though another investigation could do nothing but HELP find their daughter and give her a proper burial.....why would the father/family member of a missing person not want to try to locate their own child?"

just my friends words and opinions

If you do not mind another "What is my Line" line of questioning, would the person possibly involved, be white? blond?
TIA.
