Saying that, if that is her on the model mayhem profile & with her having a previous job as an exotic dancer, no doubt she could have attracted some right weirdos! Jmo of course.

It's odd that she has been missing almost two months, and no one at the trucking company noticed. If she is president at this business ? Also, how did her separated husband notice her missing ?

So she left her husband, she was last seen by him in October when she was moving from their residence to the area of Dundas Street East & Haines Road, to an "unknown location" & he reported her missing on the 24th of November? Seems a long time.. Surprised & shocked that no one else reported her missing way before that though. Where's her family, friends, co workers etc? Why aren't they speaking out? Ive heard nothing so far, no appeals etc! Weird.. Why did it take so long to report her missing? What made the husband eventually report her as missing in November? Also, I wonder what the reason was for her leaving him? Seems like she left him & finished it in the article that I read.... "After leaving her husband"

So many unanswered questions. Strange case indeed.

NatalieLouise you are right so many questions need answering here it's a shame for Erin that nobody who knows her have appealed for her whereabouts where is her family in all this? that fact that he did not report her missing until the 24th I just got this gut feeling I hope I'm wrong that he knows more about this then he is letting on - if she left him what was his reason for reporting her missing? Why does he think she is missing she left him supposedly?

Surley she she must have some family out their who are missing her just does not make any sense

When I first read the news article about this woman missing, I thought of the case (long ago) of Beverly Davidson Pirrera.

I hate to say it but due to her side-line profession of go-go dancing and "modeling," I'm worried that she has encountered a "not-so-nice" person. As a poster said earlier, so many red flags in this one.
i'm supposing maybe she is not in regular contact with her family, such as a parent or sibling...otherwise she may have been reported missing sooner.
Hope she is located and is safe....

yeah that a good point she might have left left and on gone off with someone she might have known from working at the club and it could she made a massive mistake which is why I'm worried the fact no family have applied to help look for her where abouts is really sad

Erin's IG account: https://www.instagram.com/portiawest/

There's only one post - a picture of a young boy. Does Erin have a child? There's nothing mentioned about a child or children in the few articles about Erin in MSM.

it might be!! the child does have a look of her it could also be related to her in someway but as far has the information goes there no mention of a missing child as well could be another clue to this case

There is a picture of the same child on her FB with the caption "my little grandson" - perhaps her husband has children from a previous marriage who now have children of their own and Erin is their grandmother through marriage?

She also has another IG account (https://www.instagram.com/portiawestendorp/) with more pictures of the child - they are also captioned that he is her grandson.

You would think if Erin left and apparently separated from her husband she would still like to keep contact with her " my little grandson" in some or was the separation that bad she needed to get away the question is did she get away?

Did anyone saw her or was in contacct with her after she moved out? If not we have only the estranged husband's word for that. I don't like it very much.

Thats a good Question? and it does not look good for the husband did any other witness see her actually leave her home? so far we only have her husbands account that she has gone missing but if she had to get away from him she would not tell him where she has going! and her workplace don't seem that bothered that she has not turned up for work - if the husband is involved then he has sort of dropped himself in it by reporting her missing

Due to the "suspicious circumstances" surrounding Erin's disappearance, the Homicide Bureau are now assisting with the investigation.

Peel Regional Police’s Homicide Bureau confirmed Thursday (Dec. 3) they are aware of Erin McGonigal’s disappearance and are helping 12 Division officers in their investigation.

“As per our mandate, Homicide is monitoring it and assisting (12 Division) as there are some suspicious circumstances in this case but there is no evidence to suggest any foul play at this point,” Homicide Insp. Sean Lawson said in an email.

If I were a mafiosa kind of gal and I go missing, I'm sure my present/past profession would come into play. Many times a person lifestyle can be motive for their life's choices/happening. It doesn't mean they deserve it. Or that it's right or wrong. It's just life.
