Eve and her BF left with their phones and stuff, but Kevin was caught off guard. He was only going to the store, he asked his grandmom to leave the door unlocked. LE said he was wearing clothes he wouldn't normally wear out. He left his phone on the table at home.

I wonder so much about this case.

Kevin said he was going to the convenience store, and LE has confirmation that he was there. He was never seen returning home. I think he was being watched and was taken or lured into a car that day. Unexpectedly. Never to be seen again.

I am guessing the same fate for the other two as well.

Canada is usually tight lipped about many cases. I suspect they have some more inside info and suspicions as to who might have harmed them and why but isn't mentioning much until they can say it confidently.

MOO I’m afraid I think someone thought the kids knew the truth about what happened to Phillip, though I very much doubt they actually knew anything at all.

What do you think happened to Phillip? Is it organized crime related?

Eve and Jackie took their phones, some answers might be found in Kevin's phone which he left at home. I think LE knows more than they are letting on....

There is still some interest from a few podcasters on YT but little else. I suppose Philip Sit and the others could've been involved in a gang but I tend to believe that this was an accident that got covered up. Maybe they didn't know it was their friend's body when LE discovered it but they probably had a good idea that it was. Preparations could've already been in place for months (fake identities, passports, money, change of clothes, meeting place) for if and when and Philip was found. My bet is that they escaped to Hong Kong, where two of them had parents residing. What leans me in this direction is that there has seemingly been no one in any of their families still trying to find them. And here is a huge red flag IMO...no age progression photos/drawings have ever been done.

there are videos posted just a few replies up from yours of parents of these children crying and pleading. so i am confused

There is very little discussion surrounding this case, considering the circumstances. What I could gather from YouTube and reddit comments, is that most think it was gang related. I think it's possible that they witnessed a crime, or maybe they were involved in something that did damage to an established criminal organization. JMO I'm open to other theories but there's so little information out there.

Should this be in missing persons as opposed to cold cases or both? Seeing as three of them are still missing?

I am a dentist and we occasionally receive emails from our governing association with the subject "request for assistance" in conjunction with the local police; generally they want dental records and they give us the name, age and last known address of the person. Today I received an email seeking records for "three children, missing since 2006" which caught my attention, which led me into a deep dive of this case. It sounds like they may have found remains that need to be identified? Though am confused why they are going this route, wouldn't their families have been able to provide the police with the names of their dentists? They were all still living at home, their parents/relatives probably made their appointments for them. A digression, but we have patients who are 30 and their parents still make their appointments for them

I think they might’ve found Kevin. On Canadas missing children website he’s no longer listed as missing, while Eva and Jackie are still there

Does anyone have any theory as to what happened to these kids?

I asked my father about this case since he lived very close to where they were (not saying what he’s saying is completely accurate, this is just from his personal experience). Apparently, the area they were in was heavily involved with gangs, he said that if you weren’t involved in a gang you were most likely to get killed. He said he thinks that what happened is Phillip might’ve been killed to be proven as “worthy” for a gang or Phillip somehow got caught up in something he shouldn’t have been and Eva, Jackie, and Kevin somehow knew about it. Since Phillip’s body wasn’t found until a year later, they didn’t have to die just yet. He thinks that when word spread about Phillip’s body being found the gang took that as one of them snitched and decided to take it all out on them. Again, this is just a theory from my father who lived around that area at the time.

I looked in the comments of Toronto Crime Stoppers 2nd posted video Eve Ho and someone in the comments suggested that she looks similar to someone named “Anchyi Lena Urena” and says to go on WellAware1 to go see how alike they look. However, I can’t find anything on there or on here by searching that name. The only thing I could find is a post on fourwinds10, but apparently they are a very unreliable resource.
