''Camille Netricia Hall, 42, and Smart George Idemudia Junior Obanor, 30, both of Toronto, are each charged with two counts of first-degree murder, three counts of attempted murder, arson – disregard for human life, and arson – causing damage to property.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and they released photos of the accused to help identify any other suspects or associates.

''Investigators with the York Regional Police Homicide Unit have charged two people in connection with a fatal house fire that claimed the lives of two residents and left three others seriously injured in the City of Richmond Hill.

On Monday, September 1, 2025, at 2:57 a.m., officers responded to reports of a house fire in the area of Skywood Drive and Rollinghill Road. When emergency services arrived, they found the residence fully engulfed in flames. Five occupants were in the home at the time and all were transported to hospital in critical condition.

On September 2, 2025, an 11-year-old child succumbed to her injuries. The following day, 24-year-old Helya BAHARI-KASHANI was also pronounced deceased.

The three remaining victims were treated for their injuries and have since been released from hospital.

Through investigation by the Homicide Unit, with the assistance from the Fire Marshal’s Office and other specialized units, two suspects were identified and have now been charged.

Investigators are releasing images of the accused to assist in identifying any other suspects or associates and are urging anyone who recognizes them or has information to contact police.
