Austin was last seen at 01:30 am in Medicine Hat, Alberta with Dominic Park on August 17th 1995. Both men have never been seen since.

That same day, Park's silver and red 1994 GMC truck (registration# 67F247) was found abandoned in Brooks about 100 km away. There are few details regarding Austin's disappearance and his whereabouts remain unknown.

There is very little information about this case but... I have the impression that it was the two of them, Gareth and Dominic, who offered them something that in the end never happened... maybe they had money to record those songs and were ambushed... I don't think they were bad guys or involved with drugs... what draws my attention is that their van appeared in a car dealership... they sold it themselves or the person or people who deceived them...
