Discretion is advised.The father of a 13-year-old girl from Kelowna, B.C. is speaking out after video showed his daughter being swarmed and beaten unconscious.In the video, obtained by Global News, the girl is surrounded by people who are beating her and others who are yelling and filming the attack. While she's unconscious on the ground, some of the assailants scoop dirt onto her head while she lays there.The victim’s father told Global News his daughter was lured to a local park around 8 p.m. on Friday by her best friend. She thought they were going a party, he said, but when they got there, her friend quickly left.He said he took his daughter to hospital where she was diagnosed with bruised ribs and a concussion.Kelowna RCMP said officers were called to several incidents of “social disorder and youth committing criminal offences, including assault, mischief” and other offences on Sept. 27.'

The video is very clear and this was almost a week ago. Have there been arrests? That is a lot of young people that were more than willing to participate in the brutal assault and attempted murder of a 13 year old girl or happily stand around and watch it happen.

The victim's father spoke to Global News on Tuesday about the incident, saying that he wants answers and he doesn't want this brushed under the rug.

''Kelowna, B.C., RCMP said three youths have now been arrested in connection with a swarming attack on a 13-year-old girl on Friday night.
At a press conference on Wednesday, Kelowna RCMP Sgt. Laura Pollock said investigators identified five aggressors in connection with the assault.
On Tuesday, three of the five were arrested and released on strict conditions.
They cannot be named due to being under 18 years old.''

I don't know what is happening in Canada but these swarming attacks are becoming prevalent. There've been a few here where I live and the videos go up on snapchat or tiktok. I don't know how all those witnesses can stand around filming and cheering. They should all be charged.

And her best friend? Her betrayal could've led to murder charges. So I hope she's charged too.
