Here are the assault locations in the larger context of major cities

Wouldn't be surprised to find out there are more victims. The guy didn't just take a 4 year break between 2013 and 2017 and another two year break between 2017 and 2019. Doubtful he was incarcerated during those times because facial rec. would have matched up his mug shot with the Parabon image.

I seem to recall reading about some assaults occurring at arenas and parks the past few years, but can't remember the cities/town. Was thinking London or Guelph maybe?

If anyone has time we should see if we can figure out what buildings and possible connection to building management companies or possible trades people coming and going. I can later tonight. Dealing with a infected tooth. Time for meds and a nap.

You're probably right. He might also have access to children through friends and family, and that might be unreported.

The last two attacks are close together, so maybe he's becoming more confident and doing this closer to home.

Thanks. Good to see you too! This is one of those really serious crimes where everyone knows it's going to happen again.

If he is found, and convicted, I doubt that the sentence will be very long, but at least he will be registered as a sex offender and people will be able to protect themselves.

I always read & value your posts, Otto! But I hope you are wrong about the sentence. I’d like to think the world is changing & finally starting to take crimes against children & women seriously. I’ll hope now & be ready for outrage later...

Thanks! Likewise with your contributions. Sexual assault has unfortunately been viewed as almost insignificant when it comes to sentencing. I wonder if consecutive sentencing applies to these types of crimes as well. I suppose it would, simply because there are three separate offences. It seems that typical sentences are roughly 3 years.

I just hope LE get to him before anyone in the general public does.

I’m sure the courts will ban the public from going because of the minors. But if not I live walking distance to our courthouse. I shall be there.

Command post set up in search of serial child predator
image.jpg

Waterloo Regional Police are looking for this man as part of their investigation into the sexual assault of a six-year-old girl.

"Any sexual assault in our community cannot be tolerated so we're concerned that the offender could act again and that's why we're trying to act as soon as possible on the investigative behalf," says Waterloo Regional Police inspector Mark Crowell."

"This is a seven-year investigation that dates back to the first incident in 2013. The second and third incidents happened in 2017 and on July 6 of this year."

DNA evidence links 3 sexual assaults of young girls in Waterloo region
"He said police believe there may have been other incidents that have not been reported yet.

“It is believed that there may be other victims who have not been yet identified and police are urging anyone with any information to please come forward,” Crowell explained.

He said some areas in the region will soon see an increased police presence as officers will be appealing to the public for more information."

"The suspect is being described as a white man, around feet 11 inches tall with a medium build.

Police are asking anyone with dashcam or surveillance footage or any other information they might have to call 519-570-9777 ext. 8666 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477."

This computer generated image is interesting. On the one hand, he has very dark eyebrows, but then he has blond hair. I wonder if that means he is dark haired, but sometimes dyes his hair blond. Maybe he dyes his hair blond when he commits offences and is otherwise dark haired.

If the assaults happened from 2013 to 2019, that suggest he is probably over the age of 24, and most likely a bit older.

I hope he doesn’t just flee to another area & continuing his spree there.

Great article- gives a glimpse how this slimeball strikes. Grabbed in stairwell btwn 2nd & 3rd floors. Grabbed while running inside to go to drinking fountain. There’s no “grooming” here. He just strikes rapidly. He must be good at giving the impression of purposefully being there- doesn’t snag attention as being out of place. Doesn’t say if he takes them to 2nd location for assault? Closet? Basement? Don’t see how he could assault in a hallway? Scary.

He must scope out the area in advance and fit-in in terms of other tenants. Maybe there's a basement level of the stairwell where the assaults happen. Maybe he grew up in a building like this and that's why he knows that children are running in and out, up and down the stairs all day.

Here is the image of the man suspected in one assault (July 6th)

Have been thinking the same thing, the poi looks as though he should be dark haired, although in the composite he is shown with blue eyes, imo.

"We're convinced that somebody knows something they have not yet shared with us," Insp. Mark Crowell told reporters gathered at the command centre Thursday.

A poster translated into Arabic, Tigrinya and Spanish featuring a composite image of the suspect and a still image of a person police say they wish to speak with, has also been released.

poster.JPG

The posters will be displayed in community centres, convenience stores and "any area where people congregate," Crowell said.

Crowell said investigators are also working with the Kitchener-Waterloo Multicultural Centre as an added resource to eliminate barriers to witnesses coming forward.

Auxiliary members of the police service have also been enlisted in the search, Crowell said.

In the days to come, Crowell said investigators will consider expanding their search radius based on the information that's come in.

Police have not yet confirmed whether the offender is from the Waterloo region."
