WARMINGTON: Hunt for Brampton grandfather’s killers heats up
"Glensbert “Sam” Oliver’s killers are believed to have escaped the murder scene in a dark grey 2010 to 2015 Lexus RX350.

The suspect vehicle was caught on a neighbour’s dash cam.

Oops. Sloppy killers.

Peel Regional Police are working hard chasing down this hot lead.

These guys are so toast. It must be tough to sleep while waiting for the door to be kicked in.

Yet five suspects, wanted in Friday’s deadly stabbing on Lanebrook Dr., in Brampton, remain on the loose — for now.

But with cops having the make, model and potentially licence plate of the suspected getaway vehicle, good luck to them.

Petty crime escalated to murder in Brampton stabbing: Peel police
"Ottaway said all of the suspects are black males in their late teens or early twenties. They fled in a dark coloured SUV.

“This was people just trying to stop a minor property offence that escalated to the point of becoming a homicide. Very tragic.” Ottaway said.

Police are urging the suspects to contact lawyers and turn themselves in.

“I don’t think they set out … to become involved in a homicide,” he said. “I believe they were out committing minor property offences and I think the actions of one has escalated this to a homicide investigation.”

Ottaway bemoaned the “senseless” death and urged citizens to call the police if they notice a crime being committed.

“I would encourage people in any crime to contact the police, call 911 if you see a crime in progress,” he said."

I would wager that the car was stolen and ditched after this crime.

Boy, 16, stabbed Brampton man who confronted him over car break-in: police
"A 16-year-old Toronto male was charged with one count of second degree murder, one count of attempted murder and various property offences.

A 17-year-old male and two 18-year-olds were charged with property offences.

The minors cannot be identified per the terms of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

Pulley said three of the four accused were under some form of prior conditions or recognizance at the time of the incident.

“While these arrests will not bring back Mr. Oliver nor heal Mr. Oliver’s family it is a message to those who commit these kinds of offences that you will be held accountable for your actions,” Pulley said.

All four are remanded at Brampton court awaiting bail hearings.

Pulley said officers are looking for a fifth male who they allege was in the getaway Lexus after the stabbings.

He is urged to get a lawyer and turn himself in."
