Canada - Gursimran Kaur, 19, Walmart worker found dead inside bakery oven - October 22, 2024

And why would a mother look in the oven? Not outside? Parking lot? Washrooms?

Because she tried to have admin people helping to find her daughter.

Daughter was ‘missing’ within the store?

It’s far fetched but perhaps something will appear in toxicology? What a horrifying case, I’m sure there are so many traumatized deeply, I’m sending love to her poor mother :(

Is this case and the story of what and how supposedly everything happened not sounding weird to anyone else? Just me?

Something is off to me, or I’m just missing important parts of the chain of events -

both are working,
mom hasn’t seen daughter for an hour
Looks can’t find her
goes to admin for help
Still looking for another hour or two
Someone calls 911 at some point about a person trapped in an oven and it’s on
Oven wasn’t supposed to be on over weekends
Oven doesn’t lock
Mom finds daughter dead in oven…

That’s not a logical chain of events for me- moo

I'm glad to see this thread. Reading MSM articles has left me with more questions than answers, and I'm relieved to see that I'm not the only one.

When was the last time someone/anyone saw her alive? In or out of the store? Are there any other people in this event other than the mother? The bakery area workers?

Haven’t seen any of that reported

Picture of similar oven used by Walmart in this article.

There is a picture of the 'interior door release' in the operating manual for this Baxters oven. It looks like the type of large button you'd push with your palm, and seems to be located on the door.

Yeah, I don't understand why the mother was worried? Were they supposed to be working together? Was the mother her supervisor or something? It doesn't make sense to me that her mother, not an other colleague or a supervisor, would be like "oh I haven't seen her in a hour, so weird". And then, it's the mother that goes and finds her? Why look in the oven?

I'm sure they have CCTV all over, including facing the oven no?

Did the deceased attend school? They were in Canada for two years so I would think she had attended high school for a bit. Friends from school or her neighbour hood? Other friends still in the UK?

It’s horrible! Maybe the unlock system wasn’t working? Maybe she panicked and freeze? I can’t even imagine…

I would tend to agree- I personally don’t have a clue what happened given the public information

With so LITTLE info my mind is going to very dark places. MOO

No new updates on what happened, but a recent report:
“This is impacting the family because when you see all this stuff on the social media that mostly is not true, and then it really it impacts the family,” said Singh, who noted the family granted permission to share the details posted on the (fundraising) page.

“So that’s why we are asking the police to come up with any updates. Telling people, telling the public, that will really help.”

Halifax police declined to comment on the family’s request for more information to be released.”

I’m struggling to see how this will be anything other than deliberate. The only accidental explanation I can come up with would be she fell or was somehow injured while in the oven, unable to get out, and the oven was turned on for reasons unknown by person unknown. That all seems…. very unlikely.

Sincere condolences to her family.
It shouldn't be possible for something like this to happen; it's so tragic.
Hopefully there is CCTV and other evidence to prove the full truth.

Deleted by me - didn’t read earlier posts.

I agree. But then I thought.. if it was deliberate and it was captured on cameras, they already would've made an arrest. Hopefully we get more facts soon.
