I haven’t seen it confirmed where she worked. Although by elimination surely if she didn’t work in the bakery her death would automatically be suspiciousDid we ever learn where in Walmart she worked? Was it the bakery?

Perhaps she had gone in voluntarily and fallen - then If someone else turned on the cleaning cycle without seeing her, that would both explain the conditions of the body and it not being considered foul play… not my first thought in this case… mooThat doesn't explain the description of being "charred", which to me, would mean an extremely high temperature.
According to this article the family is requesting LE update the public to dispel the rumors that are 90% incorrect, and so they don’t have to. That makes sense but is also a fine line. Ppl are always going to make up stuff, even after having the facts.![]()

Why in the world would they not release details? That sounds very irresponsible. Even if it was a suicide. But especially if it was an accident.
It’s rare that Canadian police confirm that suicide is the manner of death. Why in the world would they not release details? That sounds very irresponsible. Even if it was a suicide. But especially if it was an accident.
The investigation isn’t complete, maybe when it is and they have the ME report they will have an update. Especially seeing the family is asking LE to do so. Even after they are done there could be law suits so they will still be limited in what they can release. The family could have a designated spokesperson, wouldn’t have to be a family member. That might end up being the way to handle it.Why in the world would they not release details? That sounds very irresponsible. Even if it was a suicide. But especially if it was an accident.
They removed the oven, it was scheduled to be replaced in their current remodel anyway but they have made a point of letting ppl know that oven would not be used there again.Yes. Especially from an occupational safety point of view. What happened? How? Could other people who use this equipment be in potential danger?
We don’t, were just thinking about possible scenariosHow do we know the cleaning cycle was on? Did I miss that info?
‘Police conducted several interviews, reviewed video footage and worked closely with investigators at Nova Scotia’s Department of Labour and the Medical Examiners Service, he said.’I wonder if there was any CCTV in that area of the store to clarify things. I don't see how this could be a suicide. Your survival instinct would kick in and you'd push the door open, unless you followed a complex plan. Maybe it was some kind of unlikely accident? IMO.

That’s rather incredible to me, was it a self closing, self locking door, and a self starting oven? I’m struggling to understand how it can be concluded that no foul plan, and no one else involved and not provide a logical series of events that lead to this particular outcome… maybe I’m missing something… moo‘Police conducted several interviews, reviewed video footage and worked closely with investigators at Nova Scotia’s Department of Labour and the Medical Examiners Service, he said.’

No they don’t… still seems odd to me given what is known… mooThe police/investigators do not owe anyone an explanation except perhaps the family of the deceased. It is all fodder for the courts to deal with in possible law suits, civil suits etc.
