Region of Peel – Investigators from the Peel Regional Police 12 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking public assistance to identify a suspect, who is believed to be responsible for three sexual offences on Applewood Trail in Mississauga.
On Friday, May 31, 2024, at approximately 3:20 p.m., a female victim was approached from behind by the suspect while walking on Applewood Trail in Mississauga. The suspect allegedly sexually assaulted the victim, before he fled on foot. There were no physical injuries reported. The suspect and the victim are not known to each other.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5”8’-5”9’, 20-30 years old, thin build, with slicked black hair and a grey backpack.
The suspect is believed to be responsible for two other sexual assaults that occurred in 2023 on the same trail.
The suspect is wanted for the following offence:
