Yesterday I was driving and stopped at a light.. son in front with me, asked if those were cameras up on top of the light.. neither of us could really tell whether it was a bird and a 'thing' or 2 birds, or 2 'things.. so looked up as we went under it.. I think one was a bird and one was a 'thing'.. no idea what they look like.. but.. I'm pretty sure that if it was a camera, it could have seen inside my car too, due to the height of it?
But imagine the picture it would take. Look at the back window... rain... the front seat is not blocking anything at all, and we are not getting blurred picture from rain drops through the windshield. Imagine the zoom required to get that close a picture... no way the traffic camera, which is set to capture the intersection and plate numbers from the rear, get that good a picture, at that angle.

Can you imagine if they started disguising cameras as birds... It's a bird conspiracy!!!

Er....um.... Crop?

No, it's highly doubtful that a red-light cam gets back seat photos.

Very cryptic. Did the picture come from one of her accounts and they think he may have helped her skip town, or is there something sinister afoot that he may have witnessed or be a part of?

Have you ever received a red light ticket picture? Can you see the camera when you're in the back seat? Cropping won't get that much detail, and neither will the zoom through a rainy windshield... and why does the guy on the back seat know something, as opposed to the better picture of the driver that the camera would get?

Or was that not the crop you meant?

Nor is the red light camera picking up peach fuzz facial hair.

And what are the chances he looks directly at the red light camera and smirks right when the picture gets taken? And what about the camera angle? Are red light cameras perched on mailboxes and garbage cans?

We discussed that already... they are disguised as birds!

Skip the patio furniture - go directly to dog house.
And then why not release the whole picture of the car, licence plate included?

Ok, so my thought of a red light cam is not working. We don't have to drip sarcasm over it. Ok? So onto the next thought, you're right, the man is looking right into the camera, and also kind of smirking, so how likely is it that a cab camera would take that and that he would perform like that for a cab camera?

So onto the next thought.. it was the driver that took the photo.. why did he take the photo? If the driver took the photo, one might assume the driver knows the man, and might even know his name.

Is that Jessica's hair beside him? Does he have his arm on top of someone's shoulders?

Or fish... in a barrel. Chances are that is a picture from a JRN account, computer, phone etc... or a dating site photo, or something related to a communication from her before the disappearance. Has anyone done an image search?

To me, he seems to be looking at the passenger, so it might have been taken by someone in the passenger seat. The lean looks like there might be someone beside him, but would be closer if it were a selfie style of picture. The arm positioning doesn't look like it's his selfie, but could be on a stick from someone beside him.

Dripping sarcasm is OOTD's specialty. He is desperate for a new nemesis since his favorite one has been scarce. Hmmm... Maybe we should start a Missing thread for him?

Anyhoo... It is possible that one of Jessica's friends snapped the photo of this guy one night, when they were all out together.... She may have forgotten his name but might remember him creeping on Jessica or at the restaurant that night.

I'll try this again:

To me, the angle is wrong for the pic to have been taken by the front passenger. His eyes seem to be looking right into the camera or person who would be in the driver's seat. Notice the thing at the backseat behind driver's side.. rough edges, doesn't look like a neck rest. Jessica was really small and short.. I can't tell from the pic how tall this man would be, because it could be a smaller type of vehicle, but I notice his arm is on the down angle, as opposed to straight across, so if he had his arm over someone's shoulder, would be a shorter person than he is.

Driver's side angle would have more of the side window. This is straight on.

Tell me that people don't really use, and worse, BUY, those 'selfie sticks'? Oh how vain this world has become.

  • #199
but wouldn't we be more catching the *other* side of his face then? I'm picturing driver pretty much turned around in seat.. probably also had *someone* in the pic beside hiim.. could have been cropped out. Also.. assuming pic taken with a cellphone so the hands would control the angle of the pic? I can't see it as passenger, but.. either way.. imho... *busted*!

Driver's side angle would have more of the side window. This is straight on.
