More than 48 hours after a woman’s body was found inside a parked car at the side of a rural road in Blandford-Blenheim, police have said little about who the woman is or how she came to be there.

Local residents living on the road near the scene said the police presence had been heavy in the rural area near Princeton during the weekend. Detectives had been canvassing neighbours door to door asking for information on security cameras, suspicious activities and cellphones.

Very odd. Her car was found, but not on her route to work. Did she pick up a hitchhiker, someone at a gas station? She had some special days coming up, her child's 1st bday and her wedding.

Flipflop, I don't think we know her regular route or specifically where the vehicle was located, only that it was found on a rural road in Blandford Blenheim. Drumbo is in Blandford Blenheim Twp. Depending on where she worked in Cambridge, is it possible that, rather than the MC Freeway, she normally took some of the more rural roads (i.e. Twp Rd 8, or Oxford Rd 29 aka Drumbo Road over to Pinehurst Rd which goes to Cambridge)?

It was in a news article that the car was found on Canning Road by Princeton.

A post-mortem examination was conducted on the woman’s body Tuesday.

OPP said Tuesday that the results of the examination have led them to consider the woman’s death as suspicious.

Family members say that over the next few weeks, Rowe would have celebrated her 32nd birthday, her son Noah’s first birthday, and her own wedding.

The father of a Drumbo woman found dead in her car near Woodstock says he can’t think of one person that ever had a bad thing to say about her.

Colin Rowe says his daughter Jessica was a “phenomenal mom” who “always brightened up a room.”

Rowe said he knows that police have been “working like crazy,” but he’s looking for answers.

“I need to know what happened to my baby. I need to know. No matter what it is, I’ve got to have the answers. How it’s going to make me feel after, I don’t know. I don’t think I could possibly feel any worse than I do right now.”

I don't know where she worked now, rumor says Williams, which is a coffee shop, the one in Cambridge is on Hespeler Rd, which is HWY 24.



I believe at one time she worked at a pub called Dooleys, which is closed
I read on her FB about working at charcoal Steak house a few years ago

While police have yet to confirm her identity, OPP Const. Ed Sanchuk said that information would be provided Wednesday.
It wasn’t until an autopsy was completed Tuesday in Toronto that police declared her death suspicious. Police, though, indicated there was no imminent threat to public safety.

Her death is being treated as suspicious. Police have not elaborate on what led them to make that determination, but have said that there is no wider concern for public safety.
