Thought I would throw this out there because it seemed odd to me.

I had joined the Let's find Jodi Hendrickson group and had posted a question in the Latest News area, asking about steep cliffs or ravines in the area. I had been answered by someone who said there was an area with a steep cliff but that the area had been searched as well as it could be given how steep it was.

I checked tonight to see if there were any new posts or any news about Jodi and saw that not only had my post been deleted but the person who replied to me had his post deleted as well.

I'm not sure what to make of it, if anything. Just thought it was odd.

Just want to Thank all you great members for your dedication in bumping this thread for Jodi, and to add a tidbit.

Recently there was an attempted sexual assault at Cultus:

I hope LE has checked with the peeps Jodi was expected to meet up with at Cultus Lake on the off-chance that she did make it off Bowen Island to that party.

She's in the dreams, thoughts and prayers of family and friends -- her whereabouts a mystery that has puzzled police and alarmed a small community.
Since Jodi Henrickson went missing on Bowen Island on June 20, more than two months ago, theories and rumours have abounded.
But, for now, a simple, pressing question continues to plague those who know and love the 17-year-old Squamish teen.

Charred human remains have been found in a burned out car on Gladwin Road in South Abbotsford.
A patrol officer responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked next to a berry field in the 400 block of Gladwin around 4 p.m. on Thursday, said Const. Ian MacDonald.
"At first glance the officer thought it was just a vehicle arson but on closer inspection determined there were human remains inside," said MacDonald.
The vehicle, believed to be some sort of sedan, was not smoking or in flames when the officer arrived.
Nobody reported the vehicle burning to police, he added.
The Abbotsford Police forensics team and major crime unit responded immediately and Chief Bob Rich was also on scene.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has been called out and has taken over the investigation.

Maz, I'm pretty sure this won't relate to Jodi. There was gunfire heard before the car fire, so I HIGHLY suspect this will have been a targeted gang hit. We've had a lot of gang killings in BC recently, and Abbotsford is a hotspot of gang activity. Most likely something related to the UN gang, the Red Scorpions, etc.

Having said all that, I am curious that a young girl from Squamish was partying on Bowen Island with plans to return to the mainland and on to another party at Cultus. Unless she had her own vehicle, she probably would have had some reasonably concrete travel plans with others in order to get to Cultus.
