Would Jodi have been going into her senior year now?

Yes she would have per this article:

Tiffany Sweet, 17, who claims she is Jodi's best friend, said the teen told her she was going camping with friends but went to Bowen instead.
Sweet thinks her friend, a soon-to-be Grade 12 student from Howe Sound Secondary, may have tried to hitchhike to Horseshoe Bay.

Arnott 'a little bit crazy,' says friend

However, friends say the young man was drunk and out of control the night Henrickson went missing.

"[Gavin] almost drove into the house… and we pulled him out of the car and duct taped him to a pole so he couldn't drive anymore," said friend Khole Dallas.
"I've known Gavin my whole life and I don't think he could ever do something like that, but at the same time he is a little bit crazy, I would say. I wouldn't say crazy, but he's different."
Derek Sinke, who attended the same party as Arnott, said the younger Arnott had always been odd.

As I was reading some older news stories I came upon a few things I thought was interesting to note here. Comments I make here are only my opinion, nothing more.

Gavin Arnott's father Randy Arnott appears to be a former and/or current firefighter who won an award:

Watching this interview with Gavin makes me wonder if he is being totally honest. To me, he seems a tad bit nervous but that could be due to being interviewed by media.

Gavin's account of the assault seems brutal to me:

Arnott said it was the second time Jodi had contacted him since he was given a conditional discharge June 5 for assaulting her April 8. He said the fight in April started when she threw a motorcycle helmet and a computer monitor at him.
"At that point I jumped on her, and grabbed her and dragged her out to my front door."

Arnott said he had passed out at a house party on Bowen Island and was awakened by Jodi, who was also at the party.
At around 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, they walked along Miller Road toward Arnott's father's house. He said he and Jodi talked tensely for a few minutes, and he left without looking back.

Randy Arnott's residence is listed as: 988 Harding Road...if you look at the map link it is appx a 45 minute walk from the end of Miller Road to Gavin's father's house (provided this address information is accurate) and even longer if they were further up Miller Road.

Another beautiful morning. But still no word on Jodi.

I am horrified by the lack of media attention in this case... what is being done to bring Jodi home???

RCMP and North Shore Rescue are searching Bowen Island for a 17-year-old girl. Corporal Dave Ritchie says Jodi Henrickson was last seen at a party on Bowen Island early in the morning on June 20th.

Anyone who has information or was at the party is asked to call the RCMP's tip line at 604-947-0516.​
